I been playing with WordPress for the last few years. But I decided to come back and turn on this TypePad blog site.
I am going to look around and see what TypePad has changed in the last few years.

I am a fan of "Louie" on HBO. The star is Louis C.K. and he does a great job with the show. I love the show but it is a little painful to watch sometimes. It is a little to real to life.

The Jackson Family:
The Jackson family fighting over the family money. It makes me sick. But it is $1 billion dollars. I have seen families fighting over a very small amount of money. If you work hospital security you deal with a lot of that sort of thing.
It is sad. You would think that there was more than enough money to take care of all the Jacksons.
Sandusky Voice Mails:
I have not listened to the Sandusky telephone messages. I have no desire to hear them. He is going to spend the rest of his life in jail. He is going to die in jail.
We get it. There is going to be civil lawsuits against Penn State. The school is going to pay out millions and millions of dollars. I do not think the lawsuits will go to court unless the victims and their attorneys are very greedy. Well that was a stupid statement on my part. The attorneys will want every penny they can get for themselves. So we may have to hear every little detail.
I have heard enough.
Gun Control:
There is not going to be any gun control laws before the election. Everyone is scared of the NRA. Republicans are their front group and get money from them but are still scared of the NRA. The Democrats are scared shitless of the NRA and are not going to do anything about gun control.
I can not think of a more powerful group than the NRA. Can you? The AARP did have power in the past. I am not sure they have as much anymore.
Because of the Citizens United court case now anyone that is super rich and willing to spend their money can be powerful.
Sally Ride:
Sally Ride was an American hero. I was sad to hear that she died. I was surprised to hear she was gay. It does not matter. A person’s private sex life should not matter to anyone. It is interesting and it does go to show that we are all Americans and that everyone hetro or gay or whatever makes America great.
I have read that some gays are upset and mad because Sally Ride did not come out when she was living. Those people are just stupid. She lived her life. She did great things for America and for women. Her sex life was her own business.
Romney is stupid:
I am surprised at just how stupid Mitt Romney has turned out to be. I am surprised and shocked. Do not get me wrong he may be the next President of the United States. President Obama will be very lucky if he is re-elected. We will be very unlucky if America elects Mitt Romney.
I do not understand how Mitt Romney can be so stupid. Is he not listening to his people?
There are so many things that show how stupid he is that it is hard to list them. But the fact that he has been running for president for years and years and he did not take care of his tax return problem and whatever else there is in the past is a shocker.
He must have done a lot of dirty rotten things in the past and hid them. So his frame of mind must be that he can hid anything from the little people.
You know the fact is that I think that Mitt Romney, if elected, is going to screw the people that put him in office. If I was a Tea Party person or a right wing Republican I would be more scared of Mitt Romney being elected.
Today:
I get my steamer today. I got some stuff lined up to cook (steam). I plan to make a YouTube video of it.

I am going to start tomorrow limiting myself to three cans of Coke a day. One with each meal. I am going to try and limit myself to just eating three times a day.
I am going to try and watch what I eat. I am going to get a steamer and try using it for food. Not sure if that can help or not.
The less I eat the better I feel. Part of the reason might be my gallstones.
I hate it that I do not have better control. I know what is good for me and what is bad for me. Right now I am at 220 pounds. My weight will go up to 229 pounds when we got lots of food in the house. Late in the month when the food supply gets low my weight goes down. If there is food in the house I eat without even thinking.
I know I should cut out Coke but it taste so good with the type of meals that I eat.
Salt and I do not agree. I do not know why we fight with each other because I love salt. I do not even keep any salt in the house. Of course all the foods I eat are loaded with salt. We eat a lot of French fries (should “French” be capitalized when used with fries?) and I no longer use salt with them. Of course I dunk them big time in ketchup.
But I have improved. I did add salt to my ketchup big time before dunking the fries.

Windows 8 is very good. I have a dual boot laptop right now with Windows 8 CP and Ubuntu (Linux).
When I can afford a new desktop computer I am sure it will come with Windows 8 and I guess I will use it.
My laptop computer just lacks some of the power that I would like to have and so I want a desktop computer.
I been using Ubuntu for years. It has made great improvements. I love it but I will be using it and there will be something I want to do with a Windows program.
I think in a week or two I am going to start playing with a new Linuu release called Zorin OS 6.
Zorin OS is an operating system designed for Windows users. It makes it very easy and smooth to use Linux. It is based on Ubuntu.
Very smart idea and what they have done is set up the Zorin OS so us are using their interface and you can change the look and feel. So you can decide to have your interface look and act like Windows XP, Windows 7, GNOME and even make it look like Mac OS X.
If I decide to install it next week I may just replace the Ubuntu that I have on my computer. Or I may add it and have the system so I can boot into Windows CP, Ubuntu or Zorin OS. But I think I may just replace Ubuntu.

My ex-wife’s printer is out of ink. She prints a lot of eBay shipping labels. So later today I am going to take over my printer and hook it up for her. I will then take her printer and hook it up over here and order ink for it using Amazon Prime service.
During the time I am waiting for the ink to get here I can use her printer for scanning. She has one of those printers that does everything. I got a lot of old photos I can scan with the scanner part of the printer.
What I keep telling my grandson is that we should network these printers so that everyone could use them. No one is interested in doing that.
Tomorrow I am going to order a steamer. I have decided that I want to start steaming food.
Because Russell has Amazon Prime service I will have the steamer about Friday. So you may see me talking about steaming food.
I have not given up on SodaStream. I got a unit a few months back and I do not what happened but the tank seemed to be empty or very low.
So I have not done anything. I am just going to buy a brand new unit when I can come up with an extra $100.00 and if it works then when I have to order gas I will order two and see if I can get the other unit to work. If it works with the new cartridge then I will give it to Jimmy (my son).

We spend billions of dollars to fight the virtually non-existent threat of terrorism, but we do nothing to pass sane, sensible gun control laws because of the NRA and paranoid 2nd Amendment freaks. Thanks to the NRA, there are more guns in the United States than there are people - no wonder we have the highest number of deaths per year from guns in the world. And thanks to the NRA we have laws in some states which allow you to shoot first and ask questions later. And thanks to the NRA who deliberately feeds the paranoid fantasies of people who are convinced that the government is coming to take their guns away while simultaneously lining the pockets of politicians to make sure that gun laws stay as lax as possible, it's easier to buy a gun in some states than it is to vote! Anyone who feels it's "patriotic" to support the war on terror, but doesn't support laws that make it harder for irresponsible, and even mentally ill people, to buy guns is supporting domestic terrorism. As far as I'm concerned YOU are the enemy because you pose more of a threat to me than Al Queda does. No American citizen really needs an assault rifle or a pistol with a 30 round clip. And if you think YOU do because you think the government is out to get you, you're not only paranoid, you're an idiot. There's no amount of weaponry you can buy that's going to keep them from taking you out if they really want to. Whether you like it or not, the majority of Americans want better gun control laws - and if you're really that worried about the government taking your guns away, maybe you should move to another country like Yemen, where you'll have lots of opportunities to actually use your guns against people who really are trying to kill you.”

“A young Australian hurdler is taking the Internet by storm with a warm-up dance she performed during the IAAF World Junior Championship last weekend in Barcelona.
To shake off pre-race jitters, Michelle Jenneke, wearing a bright green ribbon in her hair, smiles as she hops up and down, wiggling her hips and waving to the crowd.
The 19-year-old's warm-up routine has had nearly 133,000 views since it was uploaded to YouTube yesterday, with Twitter users labelling her 'The Hottest Hurdler Ever'.”
OK I am in love.
It put a small on my face and I wished I was about 40 years younger.
What a very pretty woman. So free and so cute. On top of that she won the race.
We have not seen the last of her. I want to see more of her.

This summer, people from across the country are rising up to send a message: The 99% need a raise.
You and I are among the millions who have called on Congress to create good jobs, marched with thousands who came to Washington, DC last winter, and joined with shareholders this spring to demand that tax-dodging corporations pay their fair share.
And now we're taking our next step. Together with organizations like the National Employment Law Project, CREDO, and Moms Rising, the 99% are uniting to tell Congress it's time to raise the federal minimum wage.
Join with us for our Rise Up Summer, and together we can put more money in the hands of the 99%:
http://action.99uniting.org/page/s/99needaraise
Putting more money into the pockets of ordinary Americans would give a much-needed boost to our economy. Small businesses would grow and hire, and we'd put the 99% back to work.
People who work for a living should be able to live off of their wages. Real legislation is being discussed right now, and it's up to us to show that there is a wealth of support for raising the minimum wage and increasing the spending power for working Americans.
Sign this petition at 99 Uniting. Together, we'll deliver them to our country's elected officials on July 24th:
http://action.99uniting.org/page/s/99needaraise
This summer, we can work to close the growing gap between the rich and the rest of us. I hope you'll join us.
In solidarity,
Mary Kay Henry
President, SEIU
PS - You can also stand with the thousands of us that are following 99U on Facebook. Join me and become a fan here: http://www.facebook.com/the99uniting

We got a little bit of rain here in Fort Worth today and at 3:45 AM it is 71 degrees here. That is a cold spell this time of year.
I walked around the apartment parking lot for 24 minutes at 2 AM. That was 0.7 of a mile. The last thing I did was get four cans of Coke of the vending machine over by the office. I got a feeling that is not a good thing.
If you been watching my videos on YouTube you may have seen the videos on my new cell phone and on the extended battery for it. My cell phone has been off the charger for 3 days and 18 hours and the battery still has 47% of it charge!
I love these big batteries.
I just watched “The Newsroom” and it was very good tonight.
Celeste Holm has died. She was 95 years of age.
I was not a big fan but I did love the movie “Come to the Stable” (1949).
I clicked on all the stars from that movie and they are all dead. Sort of a funny feeling the next time I watch that movie and I will know that everyone in the movie is now dead.
I have not seen any grasshoppers here yet. I guess they are showing up in “pockets” across Dallas and Fort Worth. I will check my pockets. Smile
You know Facebook has given everyone an email address. I do not think any of us wanted their email address. I sent a test message to my Facebook eMail address and I never got it. Not sure where it shows up.
