PHP-Nuke 7.0 aka HNB

I like the look of Howard's Notebook under PHP-Nuke 7.0 software. I just put a new theme on it and installed a couple of things. I still have a great deal of work that I want to do with it.. Then ..when it looks great..I am sure it will crash and I will have to start all over again.. That is the story of my life.

I borrowed $20.00 from Russell and he and I went to the post office and to Sonic and KFC. He said the doctor will know in a month or two if his jaw bone is growing back.. I sure hope it is growing.

I got my only Christmas card today. I know.. sort of sad... smile.. On top of that.. I am not sure who the people are that sent it. smile Maybe it is for Jimmy.

I have a guy that is a new fan of Howard's Notebook and he says he is going to send me something from my Wish List. I would love to get something from my wish list or my wish list 2 but.. no one has to buy my friendship.. Also I do not want anyone to make a donation or get me something from my wish lists if they can't afford it. You don't have to buy my friendship. I will be your friend no matter what...
In the past a doctor made some donation to the web site...I did not mind taking the gifts one bit.. My feeling was that he could afford it. I know of another guy that made a couple of small donations and later I found out that he was short of money.. That made me feel bad.. Most of you are like me.. a buck is a hard thing to come by.. Do not send me money or gifts unless you can afford it please.

Did not win 150 million

I had one lottery ticket for the 150 million dollars. I did not win. I did not even have one number that was matching. I will tear up the list of people that I was going to share the money with ..or should I save it for the next lottery?

I was up late working on the web site. Well no I was up late having a chat. I installed Yahoo IM and got it working. Trillian will not work, on this computer, using DirecWAVE. The old version of Trillian will work. I have the latest version of Trillian installed.

I am going back to bed soon. I may have to go to the post office today.

Happiness

You know I like odd movies. Last night I was watching IFC or Sundance, I can't remember which, and they had on Happiness. I found a review at the site about the movie. I will post it here. I agree with the reviewer.

Jimmy home in a Week

Russell and I went to the post office today for Dar. Then we went to Sonic for something to eat.

Darlene talked to Jimmy on the telephone today. He said he was running out of money and thinks he will be home in about a week.

Texas HouseWife Arrested

I was doing a search on the Internet looking for "Lone Star" and I found this news item about a Texas HouseWife Arrested.
She was arrested for selling an erotic toy. Cleburne (TX) is 39 miles from here.

To the post office on Monday

I have to go to the post office for Darlene on Monday. This will be the first time I have driven the car. Jimmy is in the Kansas City area. I have not heard from him yet. I sure miss him.

I am getting a lot of return eMail to hnbbs.net. Someone sent out spam using an hnbbs.net return address. The eMail did not come from hnbbs.net they just used that as a return eMail address.
I sure would like to get my hands on them and pound on them for a few minutes.

I went out and had Mexican food tonight. I came home with a malt for Russell.

I have one lottery ticket for the Mega Millions drawing on December 30th. The drawing is for 150 million dollars. It would be paid to me in 26 annual payments. I would be 88 when I got my last payment. Smile

HNB is Back - for now...

I could not get the old PHP-Nuke install of Howard's Notebook to work. I am not sure what I did wrong.

OK.. what I did was bring back another install of PHP-Nuke that I did.. So Howard's Notebook is back.. but some of you are going to be confused..
Howard's Notebook is now: www.hnbbs.com but don't worry if you go to the old www.hnbphp.com it will kick you to the new location.

Also what maybe a bit confusing is that some of you will find your old account information and many of you recent people will find that you don't have an account (it is at the old site).

There may also be a few other problems and surprises for us. I will work to get it fixed and working.. expect a few problems.
Of course.. I fully expect that as soon as I get it just the way I want it..it will crash on me.

I am thinking about walking over and getting some Bar-B-Q or Mexican food and then coming back and working on the site.

Howard's Notebook is DOWN

I am not sure what happened to Howard's Notebook my PHP-Nuke site. Right now..that site is not working. I will go to bed and see what I can do about it tomorrow.
I had this sort of problem before.. with a PHP-Nuke site. I love the software and everything that you can do with it.

I will see what I can do tomorrow to fix it. If I can't fix it ..then I will take a look at this site and see what I need to add to it to pick up the slack.

Date of My Death

I am going to die on Monday January 5, 2015. That is what The Death Clock web site says.

Now the Death Test says that I will live until August 30, 2019. I think I will with that one... It is 4 years longer and I will be 78 years old and the weather would be nice for all you that are going to show up to see me planted in the ground. If you want to take this test: Death Test

Neal Pollack

I love C/Span Book TV but you got to take the good with the bad. I just saw a guy named Neal Pollack pitching his book. He said that he was the first person to do a blog. I know that can't be right.. Because I did the world's first blog.
He may have been attempting to be funny.. I saw people that had a smile on their face but I don't think it was his humor...I think they were laughting at him.

Oh well.. He hates Bush I guess.. But.. I am not sure.. having someone like Neal Pollack on your side is a good idea. It might be better for those of us that don't like Bush if Neal was pro-Bush.

Jimmy and Ken left. They will be in Kansas City in about 9 hours. Jimmy has my cell phone. I am going to feel naked (OK OK no comments) without my cell phone.
I am going to miss Jimmy.
I had him lay in a big supply of Coke for me.
I think Russ is going to miss Jimmy a great deal.

A fan sent me an eMail a few minutes before Jimmy left saying that he had sent me a check for $25.00 so I gave Jimmy $20.00 before he left.
