Talked with Jimmy

  I talked with Jimmy on the telephone. Jimmy said ..that the girl is 24 years old and that she has no family here in the United States. Her mom and dad want her to come to the United States. That must be hard for them.. But..I think shows that they love her a great deal.. They want her to better herself and live in the USA. (Hell we can't expect them to understand about Bush. Smile.)

  Jimmy said that he has to return to China two times. My guess is that the second time she can come back with him.
  He said round trip air fare is about 800.00 between the USA and China.

  Jimmy is talking about getting married in the United States. You would think that her mom and dad would want her married in China. But maybe .. for legal reasons it is better done in the USA.

  I hope this works out OK for Jimmy. Jimmy is such a nice ...well I think of him as a kid.. But he is a man..I just think of him as my young son. You could not find a better more sweet person that Jimmy. He would never hurt anyone. He would give you the shirt off his back.
  I hope that Jimmy does not get hurt. I hope things work out OK for Jimmy and the girl. I forgot to ask her name...I better find out her name.
 

Jimmy is back in Texas

  Darlene called me and said that Jimmy was back home in Texas. She said that Jimmy plans on staying in Texas for about 3 months and then going to live in CA. His "second dad and mom" live there. He will have to go back to China a couple of more times. Then he can get married and his wife and he will live in CA.

 

Bush Xmas Card 2004

I am waiting for my Christmas card from the Bush family. I will keep checking my mail box. I am sure they are not going to forget Jim Howard at Xmas time. (Smile)

  I heard on the news that Lura Bush said she had not got anything for her husband yet. She is reported to have said..what do you get for a guy that has everything.

  OK...gang..watch the late night TV shows tonight ...I suspect they will come up with some good ideas.

Belton Missouri - Small World

  I worked with a new guy last night. He was in dispatch all night. I only got to talk to him for about 10 minutes or less. I mentioned that I was from Missouri and he asked if I ever heard of Belton. I told him yes..that I lived in Belton for many years. His girl friend, she is 19, is from Belton.
  He must be about 22 years of age and he says that he always wanted to see go and see Missouri.

  I work tonight from midnight to 8 am. Then I do the same the next two days. Then I will be off for three days. I get paid on Friday. Most of the time I get paid on Friday and have to go into work at midnight that night..this time I get paid on Friday and do not have to be at work until Saturday at midnight.
  Friday I may check out the CasinoPrincesa and I may check out Haulover Beach. I have not been to Haulover Beach since I moved to here. I have been one time but that time.. we drove from Orlando. This time.. I will be right here. I have to go by rail and bus however to get to Haulover.

12 Year Old Rakes Leaves Nude

"FREDERICKSBURG, Va. (AP) - A woman who forced her son to rake leaves in the nude as punishment for misbehaving in school has pleaded guilty to a child cruelty charge.

However, the 47-year-old mother might avoid a felony record. Under an agreement worked out by the prosecution and defense, Fredericksburg Circuit Court Judge John W. Scott Jr. on Monday deferred the case to March 3.

At that time, Scott could impose the guilty plea, find the woman guilty of a lesser charge or continue the case to another date.

Defense attorney Beverly Haney said the woman has no criminal record and does not deserve a felony conviction.

"She lost her cool that day and she regrets it deeply," Haney said.

The woman is not being named to protect the boy's privacy.

According to evidence, the incident occurred on April 27 in the Mayfield subdivision. The 12-year-old boy had aggravated his mother by continuing to get in trouble at school, and the mother responded by sending him outside that evening to rake leaves naked.

A neighbor saw the boy and called police.

The boy was never removed from the mother's custody, and Haney said both are now doing much better."
