There is a need for such facilities in cities but I'm afraid in most U.S. cities the interior and exterior would be vandalized, torn up and generally trashed within 48 hours.

It really is a problem in downtown areas -- for homeless guys and people like me who're visitors for a few hours. Lots of signs "No Public Restrooms" and at least here in KC many freestanding fast food places which ususally do provide restrooms for one and all.

It'd be pretty weird from the inside, using it and able to see everything on the street - I'd guess a lot of people would have to test the one way glass from the outside to make sure they're truly not visible.
