Talking to Roger

I talked to my old work and computer friend, Roger, last night on the telephone.  We talked from 8 pm until 10 pm.
  We talked about computers.  We pretty much agree on computers.  He however is big into video.  He does not surf very much.  He never visits my blog.  I find that odd.  We been talking each week for years on the telephone.  He used to visit me in person each week for years.  But he never makes an effort to come to my web site.  If he or any of my personal friends had a blog I would be checking it out.  He is an odd duck.

  We talked about the news.  We do not agree on very much in the news.  I am left wing and he is right wing. He is a pretty smart guy and, I think, for a long time I was thinking that maybe he is just taking some of his positions to debate.  (Which I have no interest in doing.)  But now I am sure he does hold those ideas and believes in them.
  Now during the talks I think we both get pissed at each other.  We still have common interests ...but he pisses me off big time.

  I was telling them that I saw the guy from the New York Times that does the high tech column.  I told him that the guy was regarded as the number one expert on the subject.  Roger, of course, says you can't  believe a word in the New York Times.  He then says who says the guy is the number one expert etc.
  Then I told him that they guy recommend the Apple computer and it's operation system.  I told him he recommended FireFox.  Roger liked agreed with that...
  Then I told him that the guy was talking about how in Japan (and areas like that)  that their Internet speed is 10 to 20 times our broad band speed.  Roger said there you go again always putting down the United States and saying other places are better.  I told him that everyone knows that there cell phones and stuff like that are two years ahead of us and we have to wait for it.  He says.. who says that.... I told him ..Roger I am not putting down the United States.. I am just telling you that it is a well know fact.  He said who says that ...I don't believe it..  etc.

  That is sort of the way the telephone talks have been going.  I told him about Ifilm and a couple of funny videos that I saw on the site.  He did not believe that they were real.  I said.. no Roger they are real videos.  He did not believe me.

  Thank God about that time the battery on my cell phone went to zero and I had to get off the phone with him.

On the beach June 25th 2005

 

Russell, Ken and I went to the beach.  It is one of the best beaches in the world.   Wait.. wait.. I have  no way of knowing if it is one of the best.  I am just an old boy from Missouri.  What do I know about beaches.

Photo above is of Ken.  Ken is my 30 year old son.  He just got his two year degree in aviation.  He passed the FAA ATC exam and is waiting to get hired by the FAA.  He is still going to college, right now via the Internet, to get a degree in psychology. 

You will notice that there are not very many people at the beach.  This was on a Saturday.  You need to come and take a vacation down here in Miami FL.

The Boob is Gone

Aschcroft,  the boob, is gone and now we get the boobs.  We miss Asscroft.  Who else is going to protect us from boobs?  God will reward him for the only good service he did for America.  He protected us from seeing the boobs of statues.  Now we know why the voters of Missouri voted for a dead man rather vote for the boob Asscroft.

• Ken has been wanting a pet.  Well he found two crabs at the beach.
• They were on a tree.  So now he has crabs.  He went out and got a
• home, food and other stuff for them.  All that came to $20 for the
• two new additions.  Anyone know anything about this little guy?

 

Biscayne Beach

  Ken, Russell and I went to Biscayne Beach.  It was a nice day. 

Tom Cruise is a mental?

  Those of you that have been following my life here know that I know a little bit about people with mental problems.
  I saw a re-broadcast of Tom Cruise on the NBC Today Show.  I bet you have seen it.  They are showing it on all the news and talk TV shows now.  I saw one poll saying that now 61% of the people like Tom Cruise less now.

  I have enjoyed the movies that Tom Cruise has been making.  I am not a fan.  There are movie people that I would say I was a fan of.. for some reason Tom Cruise is not one of them.. But I like his movies.
  Now ..  I have seen him running around all over the place and his public display of love for his new girl friend.  My feeling is that it makes me wonder if maybe he is gay.  He seems to be acting.  On the other hand he is a good actor and I would think he could act better... I don't know.. It does not matter, to me, if he is gay. 

  Tom Cruise said that psychiatry was a "pseudo science."  Well Tom your Church of Scientology is a "pseudo religion."
  From  watching Tom Cruise you can tell that he has been brain washed.  I wonder if he has some major mental problems. 
 
  When you see him go off on the subject of psychiatry... just think what it would be like to be around the guy... I would hate to be married to the guy.
 
  I heard one time that he gives a lot of money to the Church of Scientology.  If his acting out hurt the movie and ticket sales and profits and hurts his ability to make money.. I wonder how his church is going to like getting less money.

  I think Tom Cruise needs some help.  Now on the other hand he is running all over the world to sell this movie.  He is trying to sell the world on the fact that he is a macho male in love with a woman and maybe he just has a lot of stress and is dog tired.

Gaydar

I am not sure what I think about this story.  What heck is gaydar? 
  The article is "Gay or Straight? Hard to Tell."  I am not sure if that is correct or not. 
   
  OK I did a search for "gaydar" and here is the definition:

  "Gaydar (a portmanteau of gay and radar) is a slang term for the supposed ability to be able to tell on sight if another person is gay, bisexual or otherwise not heterosexual."

    Oh OK.. I believe that gay people do have that ability. 
     I never had the ability but the longer I live the better I get at it.  The way it works with me is that I will see someone and I will think they remind me of so and so and he or she was gay and I wonder if this person is gay. 
      I worked with one guy for years and never knew he was gay.  It was just the two of us on weekends working with each other.   This is years ago and I was married.  One day I went down to work with the family to pick up my pay check.  Darlene saw him and said Richard is gay.  I said no he is not.  She said he is gay.  A few weeks later I told him what she said and he said.. that he was gay.  Now after he told he that he was gay ...then I would look at him and hear him and think how could I have not know and how come others don't know it.  I was alway having women ask me about him.  They were interested in him.

Smart Ass Little Punk aka Gov Bush

  I gave my opinion on Gov Jed Bush of FL in a recent post here.  Well there is an op ed article in the New York Times and the author seems to agree with me.  The editorial is by Bob Herbert.  It is called "Cruel and Unusual."

  Never guess the age of a woman.  The woman at work that does the tagging with me had a birthday.  She took off two days for the birthday.  When she came back I asked her if she was 25?  I had already adjusted my guess.  Well it turns out she is 20 years of age.  I am sure she was not happy with my guess.  Of course she is the one that was saying things about how old I was... so I guess what comes around goes around or something like that...
  They cut her hours down to 25 hours a week.  She said last week, when she heard, that she would quit if they did not give her hours back.. this week she says she will stay as long as she makes $400.00 on each pay day.

  I had a good day at work today.  In fact this week has been good.  Even the hyper supervisors seem to be cool this week.  The big boss in on vacation for 11 days and that maybe the reason.
 
  I just got a call from Jimmy.  Well he wants to be called James.  He is my son and lives in Texas with his mother, my ex-wife, ... well..   my ex-wife has major mental and physcal problems.  She gets no help from the government.  She has been selling stuff on eBay for years and making a living doing it.  Well the other day she sent out about 30 packages at the post office.  After her and Jimmy left the post office they opened up the boxes and found video tapes in the boxes and they changed the postage to first class mail and about 30 people are going to get their video tape with postage due of $2.  You know those people are going to give Dar a bad feed back and if you get 30 bad feed backs you can forget about selling on eBay.
  Now Darlene has been sending out video tapes that way for years.  She buys those video tapes from other people on eBay and they send them the same way she has been sending them etc.
  I am not sure what the heck is going on...  If Dar can't sell on eBay or get anyone to buy from her .. then I am not sure what she going to do.  She has used the post office in Belton, MO and Carrollton TX and Hillsboro TX and never had any problems.  They knew what she was sending. 
  Also I guess the post office said you can't send out advertising as "media mail."  Well Dar does not send out advertising.  She stuffed newspapers into the boxes to protect the video tapes.

$68.00 in Commission

They did not have a jury ready for Hilary.  They will contact her when they have a jury.  Hilary does have an attorney. This has cost her a lot of money.  It has also been a big worry for her.

  I did not take my radio to work today.  I do not take a break or lunch.  I work the entire time when I am at work.  I never talk to anyone.  I never sit down.  I don't have a desk I could set down at and put the radio on the desk.  I did not see any point in taking the radio.  I think the take your radio to work day was a good idea.  It was just not a good idea for me.

  I was looking at some photos on line. I sure want to get a digital SLR camera.  I think they start at about $500.00 for the DSLR.  I am not sure how much of a discount I would get at work on an item of that price.  I suspect that what ever amount I got off would be about what the extended service plan would cost.  If I buy a lap top, camera or palm or pda device I want to get the “TAP.”

  I want to thank all you porn fans out there.  I just had $86.00 in commissions go into my account for this month.  Keep up the good work.  Smile
