I am feeling good today. I hope that this weekend I can get out and go someplace and do something.
Right now my plan is to go to the lab tomorrow at about 0700 and give them the paper work and everything and have them draw my blood and I will give them a UA (that should not be a problem).
I am going to work on Show Me Blog today. I have made a few changes to it.
One or both of the medications that I am taking (Detrol LA and Avodart) is helping me. I am not sure which one is making a difference. It maybe that both of them are helping.
I have been thinking about the video blog thing.. I have got to tell myself and remember that I should not post video here just for the sack of doing a video. I should only post a video if it helps tell the story better.

I had a good day. Work went well. I have had little pain. I seem to have to run to the bathroom less often.
I paid for the Vlog It! program today. It is a pretty neat program. I made three videos and posted them here. I then looked at them and removed them. Just because you have some good software does not mean you know how to use it or that you have something worth people taking the time to download.
I had Ken get a blue sheet today for me. It will be the blue screen behind me when I do some videos. I will give it a try sometime.
I have decided that the camera i want is the Casio Exilim EXZ750. It gets some excellent reviews.
I ordered a 1 GB SD disk. I have a 1 GB in my camera. This one will go in my Palm device.
I pulled the WinTV (Hauppauge) card out of my computer today. I hated to do it. I was getting blue screen crashes however from it.

Today was a good day. I think I only made one or two bathroom visits at work. My arthritis has not been hurting. Yes today was a good day.
We ordered in some Chinese food. It was excellent.
I got a number of tickets for the FL lottery but did not win anything.
Tell you what.. little deal for everyone... IF I win the lottery from now until I cancel the offer.. Here is what I will do.. I will take 100K or more of the money and divide it up between all the "members" of Howard's Notebook. Right now there are four members listed. Now I say 100K because it depends on just how big I win. The larger the jackpot the larger the amount I will divide up with "members." Also in order to become a member you need to give a real email address PLUS if I win I will use that email address to contact you. If I can't contact you at that email address I am not going to go hunting for you. I will just donate that money to some left wing cause.
I buy one lottery ticket two times a week. The next drawing is on April 1st for $25 million. If I win it and I am the only winner I will divide up $1 million with members!

I am feeling very good today. The only bad part of the day is that I need to collect a FOBT today. I have not done that yet. In fact I have to do it today and for the next two days.
I am not sure when I will get it done.
They want to rule out blood in my stool. They are trying with that test and many others to rule out cancer.
I will also have these tests done:

ShowMeCam was one of the very first webcams on line. I know there were webcams aimed at coffee pots and vending machines before my webcam. But when I started sending out video people were surprised to see a human. They did not think I was for real. They would ask me to hold up x number of fingers to see if I would respond.
At first the video was not in color. The cameras were pretty poor. I only had 4K of memory on my video card and I did not have any concern that people were watching me. Even when I was nude I did not worry. I was surprised when people commented that I was drinking Coke. I was surprised they could tell it was a Coke can. Then I had a couple of people say that I sure had big balls!
I started to think ... maybe they have better video cards in their computers. I got a better video card in my computer. Then I said to myself .. oh shit. I had no idea people were getting that good of a view.
I was living in a mobile home (trailer) and during the winter I had on a t-shirt and sweat pants. During the summer it got to 120 plus in my room. It was like that the day I got broadband access. The cable install guy did not stay around very long.
During the hot weather I would be nude. I got a lot of visitors to the web site and the webcam. It was rare to see a nude webcam. Each day there were more and more of them however.. very fast.
Again people could not believe they were seeing a nude person on a webcam.
I was the first person to buy WebCam32 software. I sent a check to the authors home. When he got home from work he told his wife he had sold a copy of his program. He took her to my site to show her the first customer to buy his program and there I was bare ass nude. He and she got a big smile out of that. He commented on that a number of times to others. Later he sold his program to a company and I suspect he is retired and sitting on a beach some place with a cold drink. If there is anyone around he may tell the story about his program and the first copy he sold.

When I got to work today there was no printer hooked up to my computer. I have no idea were the printer is now. I got a feeling they are going to move me again. I see they moved a woman that had a desk over in a corner of the building. Maybe that is going to be the new location for the "sign machine." I worked about an hour and then I went home. I will find out tomorrow, I guess, were I will be working.
I downloaded the new Yahoo Messenger with Voice. I put $10.00 into my account. Now I can call phone numbers world wide using Yahoo Messenger. The rate for callling a phone in the United States is 2 cents a minute. I can call the UK and other parts of the world for less than 2 cents a minute.
I then went and signed up for a telephone number. You can now call that telephone number and I will get the call on my computer. If I am not here it will leave voice mail for me. That cost me about $3.00 a month. I am thinking of posting that phone number on my blog and web sites and anyone that wanted to call me could call me. I am thinking about that before I do it.
I downloaded Vlog It! I used it a couple of times but I had a problem. It would not let me record a video for very long. It would cut off. I was thinking it was a nice program and I would buy it except not until I could see what I was doing wrong. I more or less gave up on it. I decided to check it again and then I saw.. if you have not paid for it.. It cuts your video off after 90 seconds. I wish people would make that clear from the start. It seems that when I downloaded that it said a fully functioning copy. Maybe not.. but I wasted a lot of time messing with it and thinking I was doing something wrong..
I may buy it. If I buy it I hope you will see some very nice professional looking video blogs.
I noticed one thing however... I type this blog and it seems, to me, that I am saying stuff worth saying and reading. But when I go to do a video blog.. I think.. this is not worth anyone watching or listening to.. and I think.. I have nothing to say.. odd...
Today was not a bad day for me. I have not been hurting as much. I think I feel a little better. Tomorrow I have to start collecting ... well never mind.. the next three days are going to be a pain in the butt.. never mind...
I been reading about my Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia and how they do the testing. I wish I had not read it. It looks like I can look forward to having tools put up my penis and probs up my butt. It is a hell of a thing to get old.
If I have to have surgery we are talking about weeks of me not being allowed to work. It would be hard to make it with out that income.
I guess I can worry about all these things later.

If any of you want to create an intro for my videos your help would be welcome. Keep it short like 15 seconds max. I only have about two minutes total here. Create something that I can use as the start of each video.
Also if any of you want to create a video to express yourself here or if you want to say something in video format here feel free. Again no more than 2 minutes and if the intro is going to be 15 seconds then we need to hold it to 1:45. I am not sure I have the software to edit a video. I have software to edit audio.
I am back using CameraWare for ShowMeCam. I have it set now so you can pick the CW video you want to see. I hope you will only watch my video. Smile. However sometimes when I am not sending video you can check out some of the other videos.
I been having a blue screen from time to time. I also have had the computer lock up a few times. I am not sure if it was the streaming video doing it or something else.
I been reading about Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (DPH) which is the disease that I appear to have. Of course I have to have some test and see another doctor to make sure it is benign. If it is cancer than that is an entire another story and disease. I will know more later. But for right now I been reading about BPH. It sort of sounds like it is going to be a pain in the ass, well not the ass, from now until six men carry me in a box for that last trip.
