Jimmy Is Home

  Jimmy talked the doctor into letting him out of the hospital.  Darlene called me and gave me the information.  She called the hospital to make sure he was released and that he did not escape.  Smile
  The doctor did increase the medication from 10 mg to 20 mg.  But they did not release him with any medication.  He said he was going to get medication tomorrow.
 
  I am not sure why they let him out so soon.  I hope he is OK and I hope he will get his medication and take his medication. 

  I hope on Friday that the doctor is going to have a fix for my problem.  I just hope he watches what the fuck he says to me.  I get very pissed off when I think about him.  I am a very easy going person and it is rare for me to get mad or upset with someone... but this guy has got on my bad side.

  Ken has been moving right along with his education and is starting a new college soon.  We need to live in Fort Lauderdale.  That would be close to his new school.   So if anyone knows of someplace to live in Fort Lauderdale please contact us.  We are thinking that maybe we would move in August.

Appointment with the Doctor

  Doctor Dansky's office called.  I have an appointment on Friday (June 2 2006) at 0845 to go over the results of the Urodynamics test.  I guess, Friday, I will see if this test "tells him everything he needs to know" to fix me.  I will see if it has been worth waiting weeks and weeks in pain and having to lose my job because.. He could not do anything until he got the results of this one test.
  I am sure I will have to pay for an office visit ($35.00) and if he writes any Rx I expect to pay about $35.00 each for them.  But you know if I can stop going to the bathroom each 40 minutes and if I can go to the bathroom without being in pain and if I can sleep longer than 1 hour ...it will be worth it.
  Friday we will see happens.

Playing with Joomla!

Joomla! doesn't even require the user or administrator of the system to know HTML to operate it once it's up and running..."  Yes I am playing with new software on a new site.  I will post the URL when I get a few things done with it.  It looks very nice.

  I got the postal scale today.  I got the two DVDs from BlockBuster today.  I got free boxes from the USPO to use to ship stuff that I sell.
 

  I did not hear from the doctor today.  Tomorrow it will be one week since I took the test.  I will call tomorrow.. well maybe I will fucking call them.. After my last call, when I talked to the doctor, I am so fucking pissed at the doctor.. fuck him. 
  I was feeling a bit better on Sunday and Monday.   Today the pain has moved from  6 to  7.  Last week it was a 10 on a scale of 10.  My hope was that each day it would get better. 

  I have the Humana plan for Medicare and the offer free membership in some fitness places.  It is called The Sliver Sneakers Fitness Program.  I will have to see if there is one near me.  Remember I have no car.  Right now I could not do it.  But maybe I will get better.  I could use the exercise equipment, steam and sauna and whirlpool. 

Tuesday

  Today I should get two DVDs from BlockBuster.  I should get some boxes from the post office.  I will use the boxes to send out items I sell on eBay.
  I hope I get the postal scale today.
  I should hear from the doctor today.  He said when he got the results of this test back that he would know just what was wrong with me and how to fix it.  I do not want to hear him saying that he wants to do some other test.  I do not want anything poked up my penis.  My guess is that he will want me to take some new medications.  My guess is that he will want me to take two medications and I bet I have to pay $35.00 each a month ($70.00 a month for medication). 
  After everything is taken out of my monthly SS check I get $760.00 a month.  Then $500.00 of that goes for rent.  That leaves me with $260.00 a month.  I can't afford to be sick and taking medications.  But thank God that I do have Medicare now.  If I did not have Medicare I am not sure what I would have done.  There is no way I could have seen a doctor or paid for medication.

  My left foot is swollen so big that it hurts.  The right is also swollen but not as big as the left and it does not hurt as much.  Since Russ has started working I have been waking him up at 0530 hours and then staying up.  I have been here at the computer in this chair longer hours.  Maybe if I were to lay down and watch TV or even put my feet up ... maybe the swelling would go away.
  Humm...  I wonder is there some way I could force that swelling into my penis.

Jimmy Update

  I need to make a correction to a past post.  Jimmy's wife can TALK to him.  She can talk to him on the telephone.  They do not want her to visit in person because he made his escape attempt when she visited him. 
  Selena, his wife, has been crying her eyes out each day.  She wants to be with him each day and each day she is not with him is a long day. 
  Jimmy may get out of the hospital around June 9th.  The release date will depend on his condition.

  I sold another video card.  I will mail it tomorrow.  I may look around for a source to buy old video cards and sell them on eBay.  I am selling stuff that I had on hand here.  I need to think about what am I going to sell when I sell off all my old stuff.  Anyone got any ideas?  jhoward@hnbbs.com

  I am setting up a "store" on eBay.  I am calling it:  ShowMeShop.  I need to create a logo.  It should be 310 wide and 90 high.  Anyone got any ideas?  jhoward@hnbbs.com

 

Chat Room

I have set up a Chat Room.  Truth is that I hate chat rooms.  I can not be in a chat room and get anything done.  I know many of you can be in a chat room and do other things but when I am in a chat room nothing gets done. 
  So I will be in the chat room from time to time.  Now if you go to the chat room and I am in it do not expect me to respond to you right away.  I maybe working on a web page or doing eMail and the chat room will be under something else..  Also if you go to the chat room and there is someone else in the chat room please chat with them. 
 
  Ken has today off but Russell will be working. 
  I guess tomorrow I will hear from the doctor. 

Power Loss 2 Hours Plus

We lost power, the entire area, for over two hours.  There is no rain or storm or anything.. I have a feeling that we can expect a summer with out power if this is not even the storm season (Hurricane season starts June 1st).

Sunday Afternoon

  I have had a good day.  This is the first good day I have had in a long time.  I am not saying that I am all better and ready to run a marathon ...or walk a marathon..but I do feel much better.  I still got problems but for the first time.. I feel like I may get better one day.
  I did not get anything done today.  I did decide to use incrediMail again and am using it right now.  I switch between IncrediMail and Outlook Express.  I also use iRider vs Internet Explorer sometimes.
  I switch webcam programs so often it is not funny.  But if you go to www.showmecam.us you will always find the video.  I am using CameraWare right now.  I will run the "slide show" from time to time. If you see old photos it is because I am gone, or sleeping, or making a video (and need access to the webcam driver). 
  One grip I have with IncrediMail is that they charge $40.00 a year for a junk mail filter service.  They say it is excellent but I am not paying $40.00 a year for it so I will never know.  Hell even if it were God's gift to us I would not pay that much money each year. 
  I got a donation button on the right of ShowMeBlog.  If I collect $100.00 I am going to get the new camera

  that not only does the tracking that you see with my current camera but the new camera will both pan and tilt.  I am not sure how long the motor will last when being used by me ..but I hope to find out.  With my current camera I move it around the room by hand or I put it far away and try and cover as much area as I can. 
  I do own a TrackerCam and many of you remember playing with it in the past.  The reason I have not been using it for the last few years is that I broke the little base that goes into the bottom of the camera.  I just ordered a replacement (cost $10.00) the other day.  I should have it soon.  You may see it working here one of these days.  However my current Fusion camera does not have a mount for it.  I plan to sell the TrackerCam.  That is the reason I ordered the part for it.  But you may see it in use  here before it is sold.

 

Great Sunday

  I woke up at 0400 to use the bathroom.  It is 0700 hours now.  I may need to try and take a nap later.
  Today the sun is out and it looks like a great Sunday here in Miami FL.
  Plus I am feeling very well.  I will not go into any great detail at this time but right now I am feeling better than I have in weeks and weeks.  Any one want to fight?  Wonder if I can get an erection?

  I wish I had got my postal scale.  Maybe I will get it on Tuesday.  Darlene does not use one.  Also she did not know that you can click on a link and that PayPal will print out labels with postage on them. She is doing everything the hard way.  She is making a living however doing it.  I have taken in $96.50 in the last couple of weeks.  Out of that I had to pay postage. 

  Again I am feeling much better today.  I will clean up my room some today and list some more items on eBay and Half.Com and enjoy today.

 

News Odds and Ends

  I am not a sports fan but I read with interest the story of Pat Tillman.  It is so sad that we have shoots of our own troops or those working with us.  It happens in all wars.  Hell it even took place in the Civil War. 
  Two things upset me about this one.. one that they always try and cover up the information and the other thing is that it shows our troops are scared and blasting away with everything they have in all directions.  Remember the video of the private contractors driving down the streets and blasting away at cars.  It is all crazy.
  I guess there is something else that pisses me off about this whole Pat Tillman deal and that is that they gave him the Silver Star.  That is a very high honor and it should not be a bribe to the family to not say anything.  Pat Tillman fell in service to his nation and is a hero in my book but they should not give out the Silver Star to bribe people.
