Dasani "Raspberry"

  It is rare for me to drink water.  I am sure that is one reason I am having some of the problems that I am having.  I do take a drink of water sometimes when I take a pill.  Hell sometimes I just wash the pills down with Coke.
  Ken got some Dasani water ("raspberry flavored water beverage") and boy is it gross.  Just the smell of it wants to make me gag. 
  I just did a search on the Internet and I see that it is made by Coca-Cola. 
  Coca-Cola admits that Dasani is nothing but tap water.

Controller Doing 2 Jobs On 2 Hours Sleep

I have not seen any news reports yet or any blog reports yet about why this condition took place.  I think that soon it will start to come out to the public.  George Bush, President of the United States, for political reasons has put the public that fly in danger.
Bush and the Republicans hate any union and the Air Traffic Controllers have a good union.  Bush and the Republicans want to see fewer and fewer people working for the government.  They want to bid out all jobs to corporations.  It is the way they operate and it is the way they think and act.  Their thinking is the only good union is a dead union.  Their thinking is the only good employee is an employee, non union, working for a major corporation with no rights and at low wages.

Actor Glenn Ford Dead at 90

Actor Glenn Ford died today (08/30/2006) at age 90.  I enjoyed many of his movies. I remember him from  "Superman" (1978) but for me his great movies were;  "Midway" (1976), "Pocketful of Miracles" (1961), "The Sheepman" (1958) and "Ransom!" (1956). 

Well today is the last day of August.  This year is going fast.  I can not remember the last time that I went someplace.  I have not been on the MetroRail or the bus in a long time.  I may go next week to do early voting.  I want to get out to the zoo before we move from this area.  I also want to get to Haulover Beach.
LaDawna will be down a great deal during September and October.  She will be down here fighting for truth, justice and the American way.  We hope we get to see her and spend some time with her.
I also hope to get up to Washington DC and see the area.  Ken also said he would like to look around Washington DC.  Ken has a full time job and is going to school full time so it will be hard for him to find the time. 
I just took 2 mg of the Doxazosin.  I hope I feel better tomorrow.  I am going to bed now.  I sort of hate to go to bed.  I will dream about working and I also wake up feeling so bad.

Odds and Ends

Dad kills neighbor accused of molesting girl. 
Wow I have so many feelings when I read the story.  I can understand a father going crazy and doing something like that.. It was wrong but I can understand it.  But the dad was a lawyer an officer of the court.  It appears that he killed the guy just based on something that his wife told him took place.  Every thing I read just seems so odd.  He is out on $1 million bail!  He climbed through the neighbor's bedroom window and stabbed the guy to death.  I don't think he should get bail.
The guy may get off when it goes to court.  I would expect one or more people on a jury to feel like it was the right thing to kill the guy.  I thing that is very sad for those people and for our nation and justice system but I would expect it to happen.
If I were judge and jury in a case like that...if the he killed did molest the girl and if it is known for sure 100% I would say the dad should get 10 years in jail.  If the guy did not molest the girl or if there is any question about him doing it then I think the dad should spend the rest of his life in jail.

Many Upset Over Ernesto

Ernesto Was A Pussy
Many people down here, Miami FL, are very upset over the fact that Ernesto was a normal storm.  One of the local stations here was reading messages from viewers that were very upset over the super hype given this "tropical storm" by the news people.
I should point out that the information was from government leaders and the weather department.  But I have noticed that the local TV stations do go nuts over weather and hurricane conditions.  It is like it is a big rating event.  They have command centers and reporters or staff that are weather "experts" and they just go on and on about it and never shut the fuck up.  Thank God for cable were you can get some other information and programs.
The Ruskin Twister
I can remember back in, Kansas City Missouri,   1957 we had a tornado that hit the Ruskin Heights area.  If I remember right we only had about three TV stations and after that for a few years when tornados were reported the TV stations would stop normal programs and just cover the tornado warnings.  It might last an hour or maybe four or five hours.  But after a year or two things when back to normal and unless one hit and was doing damage the stations would just break in and give the warning of location and the way it was heading and go back to normal broadcasts.

Hurricane Watch Lifted for Florida

The storm is over.  Oh we got a little light rain and we may get a bit more but it is over.  They closed malls, schools and were broadcasting all day on TV stations plus many other things..and nothing...  don't worry I am not going to blame George Bush.  The weather department is one of the few parts of our government that works.
