Oh Where Oh Where Is My Doxazosin

  Well I am in pain and having urination problems again.  It looks like I need Avodart AND Doxazosin.  I walked up to CVS and they had my Avodart refill but no Doxazosin.  I like my doctor but he has some office problems.  I am not sure if it all of the office staff or just the lady that takes care of the medications.
  Monday I will just walk over to his office and see the lady in person.  I had to do that last time. 

  I was looking at the monitors on line and there is an excellent Gateway LCD monitor.  It is 22 inches in size.  CompUSA has it in stock.  I asked Russ about it and he said it is very good.  I told him I would pay the extra amount over the cost of the 19 inch monitor and he said he would get it for me tomorrow.
  With a 22 inch wide LCD monitor I can get so much work done.  I can see pages and they will not be on top of each other and I can cut and paste and all sorts of things.  I think I can do more and do a better job.  I can’t wait until I get it.

 

Gateway Monitor

  CompUSA and BestBuy don’t have the HP monitor.  They are both sold out.  Russell has been trying to locate one in a CompUSA store but without luck.
  He may get me a Gateway monitor since he can’t find the HP monitor.

  I told you so.  I am back up at 205 pound.  My blood pressure is 146/67 and that is too high.  I still do not have my blood pressure/prostate medication (Doxazonsin Mesylate).  Not only is my BP high but I don’t have a urine stream now I just get drops. 
  I called the doctor’s office on Friday about my re-fill.  The woman that takes care of those matters speaks English, a little bit, and she said she would take care of calling CVS.  CVS had called the office three days before to get permission to refill.  I don’t know if it is OKed yet or not.  I will walk over to CVS tonight and see if I can get it.

  I should get my new Palm/phone on April 4^th.  Not counting today that will be in four days.

  Back to my medication.  I need to get a refill of my medications before I run out.  I will try and do that from now on.  I also should have extra on hand in case of a hurricane or some sort of emergency.  

 
 

 

Circuit City

  My God we have now come to the place in time where a major company not only acts like Wal-Mart but does not hide it or pretend but they announce it to the world.  Circuit City is going to fire 3,400 of their most loyal employees so that they can hire them with lower-paid replacement workers.
  Now just in case you think that Circuit City does not have a heart… oh my you would be wrong..the employees they are firing they are willing to hire back at lower pay.

  God have mercy on us.  I do not know were to start.  All I can say is that I will never go into a Circuit City and I will never buy anything from Circuit City.  The only way I will ever do business with Circuit City is if they fire the CEO and top management,  the employees get a union and it become a profit sharing company. 

  Where will these Reagan/Republican take this nation?  We need to take a look at what is happening to this nation and to the working man.  How long before the working man is just a slave?  How long before you will have to take you children to work with you and they will work beside you?

  We need to vote out of office all Republicans.  We need to never vote a Republican into office.

  We need to support labor unions. 

  There is something about the Republican policy that has had us come to this point in time.  It is the policy that might makes right.  It is the policy that the dollar is all that matters.  They believe that a corporation matters more than a worker. 

  The Republican party hated FDR.  The Republican party always hated any rights given to workers.  The Republican party hates unions.  The Republican party hated Social Security. 

   It maybe too late now.  President Bush and the Republican party has attempted to break the bank.  They have looted so much money from us and put us into so much debt.  The cost of this war and the major cost to replace all the equipment for our military is a debt that the working man, you and I, will have to pay. 
  Maybe President Bush is not the fool that he appears to be..  Maybe it was his plan from the start to break the bank so that we could not fund social programs.  But things did not go just as his demented mind had planned.  He may have expected because of 911 and his war that he could take power for the Republicans for a long time.  The rich have been getting richer and the rest of us have been at their mercy, and they have no heart and no mercy, and we are losing our basic rights and our freedoms.

  We are Americans.  We can turn things around.  We have to start by voting out all Republicans and never voting for any Republican.
 

 

 

disguised as IE 7 download

  I had this virus show up in my eMail the other day.  Of course I did not click on it.

If you receive an e-mail offering a download of Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2, delete it. A new virus is making the rounds that comes disguised as a test version of Microsoft's current Web browser.

"The idea of sending a link seems to be a trend among attackers; it's still fairly new and it works much better than sending a file," said Mikko Hypponen, chief research officer at F-Secure.

The e-mails carry the subject line "Internet Explorer 7 Downloads" and appear to come from [email protected]. They include a blue, Microsoft-style graphic offering a download of IE 7 beta 2. Clicking the graphic will download an executable file called IE 7.exe.

March is almost over

 
  I notice that both the blog editors use Flickr as a photo source.  I am set up with photos on Flickr but I have not been using it.  I guess I need to take a look at it and start using Flickr.  

  My main Photo Album has a lot of photos.  It is Image Event.

  Of course I have over 50 videos on YouTube.  

  I hope I get my monitor soon.  It is going to help out a great deal.  I also will feel much better when I get this heavy 19 inch monitor off this glass desk.  I set here nude a great deal of time.  If this glass desk would break like that other one…I hate to think about what parts of me might get cut.
  I will also have more room on the desk.  The LCD monitor will take up much less space.
  I need to get a 2 GB SD for the Palm phone.  I have a 2 GB for my camera.  When I get the monitor and Palm phone then there is only going to be one item I still  need to get and that is a ham radio.  I do not want to go through a hurricane season with out a ham radio.
  Ken and Russell plan to ride in the MS 150 next year and I want to work with the ham radio club and provide communications for the bike ride.

  Today I plan to try and study up on my new keyboard and see what I can do with it.  I also plan to try and add some data to the Palm Desktop so that I can load it into the Palm phone when I get the phone. 
 

Blog Editors part 2

  This is a test with the ecto blog editor.  It looks very nice.  But I did like that attach of audio feature on BlogJet.  But this editor has a add an Amazon item and add a YouTube video and some other stuff.
  Let me tell you that if you do a blog a blog editor is the way to go.  If you edit on line using the blog editor and something happens you lose your post.   This way you can do it on the computer and it gets saved and then you post it.  If something happens your not going to lose your work.

 

 
Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard

Well above is an insert using the Amazon function.  I guess it could save some time.  If you did a blog were you talked about book, video, music or computer stuff I could see where it would help out.  There was a window that came up and I put in a search string and it found the Logitech G15 keyboard.  That is my new keyboard.  I love it.  But I have not done anything with it.  God I wish I was smart.  It seems like God should have a rule that he has to make a person smart or good looking.

I think I like the BlogJet editor better.  Maybe just because of the audio function.  I could add audio to every post very fast.  Just think Jim Howard raving and ranting in live audio on it post to the blog.  I could tell you to go to the window and yell your not going to take it any more.  Smile

Testing Blog Editors

  I been using a couple of Blog Editors to post to ShowMeBlog.  Right now I am trying out a new one.

  For me $40.00 is a lot of money.  I will give it a try.  If it will do everything I want it will be worth $40.00 because I post to ShowMeBlog often.

  There is also an blog editor called ecto.  I have not started it up yet.  It is free for 30 days and then I think it is $18.00 after you try it for the 30 days.

  BlogJet allows me to attach a voice attachment.  So I am testing it.  

  I hope my doctor calls in the renewal Rx for my Doxazosin.  I feel pretty good.  I think my blood pressure is OK right now.  I also take it for my prostate however and I am have a problem in that area.

  I am not sure what my plans are for today.  I have a few dollars and I would like to go down town and take one of the boat rides.  A one or two hour tour is $15 if I remember correct.

Palm Treo 650

I used eBay to buy an unlocked Palm Treo 650.  I paid $210.00 for it (that is with shipping). 
I just ordered it.  I am not sure when I will get it.  My guess is that I will get it on Monday.  God knows I need it.  I used the Palm O/S since it first came out.  I had all my data saved using the Palm software.  I  had a number of Palm devices over the years.  A few months ago I sold my Palm T/X.  So I did not have a Palm.  Then remember I installed Vista beta and had to format ...I lost all my data.
  In the past I would always have the data on the Palm device and I could transfer it back using the Palm.  This time no Palm and no data.
  My memory for certain things sucks big time.  I need a PDA so that I have the information.  You know information like addess and phone number.  My address and phone number!  I do have a phone number with Skype now that I can remember. 

  The doctor's office did not approve my Rx refill yet.  I take the Doxazosin for my prostate AND for my blood pressure.  It has now been two days with no Doxazonsin.  I just took my BP and it was 126/60 and that is excellent.
