I been playing my computer game and I been going to www.iwon.com and www.pogo.com and playing games. I have not been getting much done.
I am not happy with my WordPress blog: www.hnbbs.net
I just does not seem to fit me. Do not get me wrong WordPress is great software and many, if not all, of the large corporations in the world use it for their site. It is so easy to use and you can update each of the add on features with just a click. Neat software. It just seems to hold me back and tie my hands.
I am using WordPress for Howard’s Notebook. I am thinking of switching again to Joomla! software for Howard’s Notebook.
I should just get out of this house. I am just not happy right now.
I did not take part of the ARRL field day, I did not get to Haulover Beach for the nudist weekend, and I did not make it to that training class. I am down on myself.
I been using TypePad to host ShowMeBlog since 2003. It is a great service for hosting a blog. They have been working on major upgrades and changes to their software and they are soon going to roll it out.
I have been beta testing it. I been using TypePad for seven years and that could be the reason I am just not happy with the new TypePad that is going to come out.
I mostly use Windows Live Writer to write my post on ShowMeBlog so it may not matter to me all that much… I have seen this many times in the past…a company has great software and then they keep improving it until it sucks.
My grandson is saying that he plans to join the service around the end of August. He already knows what branch and he knows the training that he wants and he has everything worked out in his mind.
It's sadly no accident that the service is one of the very few career opportunities available. It used to be a solid choice, with the correct branch and area of expertise selected. I hope he's done his homework and chosen wisely! I wish him well!
Jim, unless you're physically disabled and have little choice in the matter, turn that infernal computer off and go somewhere for a while!
