I was a welder for about ten years. I used a welding stinger, chipping hammer and other tools but a ball point pen was not one of my tools.
My wife and I owned a tropical fish shop for four years and do not remember doing a lot of writing but had to do some.
In 1972 I became a hospital security officer and I did security and safety until November of 2000. It seems I had a ball point pen in my hands all the time. I did a lot of writing. It was not just reports but it was an activity sheet and everything had to go on the sheet. Every check …everything.
I had a gun on my hip but most of the time I had a pen in my hands.
I am not sure when I got my first Fisher Space Pen but I been buying them for years. It is not that they break but I would lose one from time to time. I have a special edition Apollo 11 model with my name and call sign on it. I love the pens.
When I was working people would sometime ask to use a pen and try and carry some cheap pen with me so I could let them use it so they did not walk away with my Fisher Space Pen. When someone did use my space pen they would say.. wow.. neat pen…or something like that.
I also have had a Parker pen and they write very well. I can remember people commenting about how well the pen would write.
I can remember back when I worked at Trinity Lutheran Hospital my boss and others talking about their “Cross” pen. Sometimes they would seem almost in tears that they lost their Cross pen. I never used one…I had the feeling it was sort of a ego thing or something.
What do you think is the best ball point pen?
Pen is a great tool one can have in his/her hand for always. This can be use in both construction and destruction of future like any other thing in society consists of both aspects same is with it. This post favors pen as tool as provide a new direction to the person who holds it like author of this post.
