I am up at 3 AM. I had a dream. It seemed like it was a long dream. I was at work but I was leaving and I guess retiring. So I was packing up things. J Edward Hoover had worked there! I was sleeping there …it was some sort of home/hospital. There was a new house keeper that seemed smart and had this smile like she knew things.
I had a ton of stuff to move and mixed in was church and government papers. All the power for the entire city or state went out.
I woke up and the housekeeper was awake making pasta with a machine. It was early and no one else was awake.
I asked her does everyone here make pasta with a machine and she said yes.
I asked her do you use a computer? She said no but with the strange smile and I had the feeling she knew something about Hoover.
I told her I made videos and have them on YouTube and I would like to interview you and talk to you about making pasta with a machine. Then I woke up.
Why can't I have sex dreams?
Yesterday I woke up feeling pretty good. I felt pretty good all day long.
Yesterday was Jimmy's birthday. All my kids, all four of them, are over 30 years old. Jimmy is my youngest.
I know what Jimmy wants to do. He wants to go to a casino in Shreveport (LA). We went one time by bus when we lived in the Dallas area. They got some buses you can ride for $10.00 and you get a coupon for $10 worth of tokens to use in a casino. So it cost nothing to get there. It is about a four hour bus ride. That is one way.
Jimmy loves to gamble. He loves it to much. I enjoy it. Neither of us can afford to be losing money at the slot machines.
Roger my old buddy from KC and I are exchanging very limited emails with each other now. No talk about political matters.
The weather is a little better hear in Texas now. Thank God, August is like hell on earth here. I wish I could win a lottery and spend August of each year in Greece, Japan, Spain or just about anyplace but Texas.
I have an aunt that moved to San Antonio about a month ago, and she previously lived most of her life in Oxnard and Ventura, California. They are both on the coast, so I bet she has to adjust to the Texas heat.
