Ken and I went to the casino. I was going to do $60.00 but I lost that almost right away. So I got our $35.00 more and lost it faster than before. So I lost $95.00 and I was never ahead or up.
Ken sat next to me and played the same type of slot machine that I was playing and he won and won and won. Soon he had $450.00 of their money on the machine. I told him cash out and leave a winner. He wanted to win big.
So he moved around some and I watched and he went down to $300.00 of their money and he cashed out and we left. He left a winner with $300.00 of their money and I left a loser.
No more casinos for me.
I had the Google Latitude map on ShowMeBlog and Howard’s Notebook and a friend watched us on the map. That is pretty neat.
I checked in via Latitude and Foursquare from the casino.
I do not drink and I do not smoke. I have never smoked or been a drinker but I could end up very fast with an addiction to casinos. I love to play the slots. I think if you lose money you can not afford to lose that is an addiction.
But I have only been two times, I think, since I been in Texas and I have been here a little over a year now. So I am not out of control. But it is good that I do not have a car or live close to a casino.
Virgin Mobile should release today the upgrade for my Samsung Intercept and then I will have android 2.2 and I am looking forward to it.
I made two Kiva loans in the last week. That just goes to show that a poor person can help out others in the world. I wish I could do more.
I wish I could make more with Google AdSense. I made 27 cents yesterday and so far this month I have only made $15.02 and last month I only made $26.94 and it is almost all from my YouTube videos. I guess I need to make more and better videos for YouTube.
I'll give this "never again" vow till you get a new invitation to run up to Oklahoma or over to Shreveport. Might be a month, might be 6 months but you'll go again and that's ok. It's not like you spend your last cent at the casino - well you do but there's always another cent coming in from somewhere. You enjoy it - you're not there often and most people spend more on beer and cigarettes than you do on slots.
Happy Birthday septuagenarian.
