CNN has a story “The California Dream is fizzling out.” The story says it is the population. It has to many people. The story also mentions home prices and the highway travel as problems.
I know nothing about the issues and am not an expert for sure…
My feelings have always been when the “no tax” movement began in CA that things were over for CA. It was Proposition 13 and it was a right wing movement. When I saw the people on TV and heard their position on TV I knew things were over for CA. That was about 1978!
When you have a state, or city or nation, and the people decide they do not want to pay taxes and are not willing to pay for the operation of the government… Well it will not be long and you will not have a state.
A small number of people vote and when a small number of people vote you get the people that have some issue they are crazy about.
I guess CA should have passed Proposition 13 and made it a law that everyone had to vote.
It is not good when people hate their government and their leaders. We have got to that point in this nation. If that does not change then there are dark days ahead for all of us. Darker than we now have…
