Charter Digital View & Digital View Plus

  I could not find anything to watch last night or today with Charter Basic Service.  Basic Service is 57 channels.  Now 14 of those are HD TV and I do not have an HD TV set.  Some of the rest of the channels are in Spanish and some are shopping networks etc.  What I get are local TV channels, CSpan and the Weather channel.

  So I decided to call and see how much Expanded Service would cost me.  I was willing to pay an extra $10.00 or even $15.00 more for the Expanded Service.  That would be about an extra 50 channels and a bunch of HD channels.  Some of the channels in the mix would be;  CNN, HLN, A&E, Fox News, USA, National Geographic, History, SyFy and many others.  Some good channels.  One I wanted for sure was HGTV.  Well the extra cost of the Expanded Service was an extra $33.00 and I just did not feel like I could pay that much extra each month.

  They have a package called Digital View & Digital View Plus and it is only $10.00 extra a month. So I took that package.  It is about 50 extra channels that I can view on my TV set. A number of them are music video channels.  But here are some of the following;  Military Channel, Biography, History Channel International, The Science Channel, EWTN, Lifetime Movie Channel, ABC News Now, Sundance, Independent Film Channel and BBS America.
  I can find something to watch on those channels.  Yes!, I might even watch EWTN sometimes.

  So it looks like I got something to watch.  One of the channels is LOGO and it did not ring a bell with me but I went through the channels one time and there was two nude women in bed with each other.  Later when I was putting in FAV channels in the remote control and I went to that channel and there was two nude guys in bed with each … And then it hit me .. OH YES.. the gay channel.
 

  I have not had time to check out everything and night time will be the big test but I think I can find something to watch.

Do you get Oprah's channel, OWN?

I had to look on the list of channels. I get it. It is channel 225. It is on the Digital View Plus group. So it cost $10.00 a month for that group of channels. It is about 55 channels that you get.
