I do not understand how the Republican Party gets any votes. It just blows my mind that they have anyone that supports them.
The Republican Party, right now, is doing everything it can do to do away with Social Security and Medicare.
Republicans right now are bring up President Bush’s plan to privatize Social Security. They are calling it “Savings Account For Every American Act.” Yes, a S.A.F.E. account. Sounds wonderful right?
Over 70% of Americans strongly support Social Security.
So Democrats should have nothing to worry about in the 2012 election correct?
Well, I do not think we have every had a President of the United States re-elected with an unemployment rate above about 7%. The current unemployment rate is 9.1% and it would seem like President Obama would have a hard time getting re-elected but are the American people going to vote for a Republican that wants to do away with Social Security, Medicare, Medicade, unions and everything else and at the same time they want to give tax breaks to the rich?
It is going to be an interesting and an important election for America and the American people.
