“(CNN) -- A controversial law requiring adults applying for welfare assistance to undergo drug screening has gone into effect in Florida.
Saying it is "unfair for Florida taxpayers to subsidize drug addiction," Gov. Rick Scott signed the legislation in June…”
Sounds like a good idea to me. All the states should pass the law. All states should also pass a law that if you want to get a drivers license you have to pass a drug screening test. That would help weed out drivers that drink or do drugs as we do not want them driving if drunk or high.
Also all states should require a drug test before you can vote. Also for any sort of professional license. Let us not forget hunting licenses we do not want someone on drugs or drunk hunting they might shoot a friend in the face.
Hell it does not matter if the law sounds unconstitutional. Why should poor people doing drugs have any constitutional rights?
Plus the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals already has ruled a law like that is unconstitutional but it is great that Gov. Rick Scott signed it into law… Why should he pay any attention to anything like that plus FL has lots of money and is not working about spending taxpayers money so they can afford to spend lots of money defending the law in courts.
Plus who in the hell cares about the U.S. Fourth Amendment? It is just an amendment to protect the guilty. We know that anytime the police arrest someone they are guilty.
The only amendment that I care about is the U.S. Second Amendment.
Great job FL and Gov. Rick Scott. Keep up the good work.
