In a few hours I will be going to the apartment office and using their land line. I asked them if I could use their phone line.
This will be my first time to use the Medtronic Carelink® Monitor to send data from my pacemaker to data center. My pacemaker stores up all the data about heart rate and what the pacemaker is doing. I went to my doctor’s office the last two times and they got the data out of the pacemaker but this time I will do it myself.
I will hook up the monitor to a phone line and put the “antenna” over my heart and send the data over the phone line. I got a feeling I am going to be using 300 or 1200 baud to send it. Just like the old days. I hope it does not take to long to send the data I got a feeling the office may have call waiting or something like that will drop the call.
Why am I using the apartment office? Because they have analog phone lines. I use Skype (digital) and you need an analog phone line.
