I am enjoying my Charter Cable TV service. I pay now a total of $101.00 a month for Charter TV and high speed Internet service.
I see a lot of programs that I would enjoy watching but I miss them because I forget about them or I end up taking a nap and miss them. Yes, I take a lot of naps.
I think if I get the Charter DVR service it would work out much better for me. I think the service is about $15.00 a month. I think I saw that I have to tell them that I want a DVR that supports HDTV since I have that service.
My problem is that I think I would have to go to their office to get the DVR equipment and it means taking about three buses to get there and back. I may wait until I need to go to that area of Fort Worth for some reason.
I could buy from Amazon a DVR system of some sort and have them send it to me. But I suspect it would not work as easy with the Charter control unit. I want to have the ability to see what is on TV with the Charter remote control and then hit a button to tell it to record that program for me.
I wonder about the following device. Of course it is $600.00 vs $15.00 a month.
Anyone use the following device with Charter digital HD service?
