  I just made my second loan via MicroPlace.  I also make loans via Kiva.  I have made 33 loans via Kiva.
  Both I am sure do good works.  If you want to help out check out MicroPlace and Kiva.  I think Kiva is a little bit more simple to get in and make loans.
