If you read ShowMeBlog or looked at my video about Spike Lee you know that I was real pissed that he would post the address of someone that he said was the address of George Zimmerman. It was not his address but the address of some old couple.
The old couple got hate mail, the media showing up at their home and neighbors questioning them. The couple had to move into a hotel. They are scared.
In my post and video I said that some how Spike Lee should be punished. He should get the message that you do not do something like that… You do not put people in danger. You do not put out a contract, for murder, on someone even if it had been the real Zimmerman.
But I said there was no way get the message to Spike Lee. He is to rich.
I have my blog and YouTube setup to post to Twitter. I do not have to do anything it just does it for me. I never read Twitter. I never follow it. It does not mean anything to me.
But Spike Lee has 250K followers on Twitter and he sits around and uses it!
I got one lottery ticket for the Mega Millions drawing Friday and the cash value is $359 million. If I won and I was rich I would not be posting to Twitter. I can not understand why someone with money and a nice house would sit around and post to Twitter.
I do not know the Twitter rules. I signed up .. but I never read the rules.
"You may not publish or post other people's private and confidential information, such as credit card numbers, street address or Social Security/National Identity numbers, without their express authorization and permission."
That is an excellent rule. I did not think about them having a rule like that. I am glad they do have a rule like that.
I sure as hell hope they cancel Spike Lee’s twitter account. They should cancel his account and take some steps to send a message to him and others not to do something like what he did.
He could have got someone killed.
Come on Twitter enforce your rules.
I read about it here: http://thecelebritycafe.com/feature/2012/03/spike-lee-apologizes-tweeting-wrong-address-trayvon-martin-shooter. I have to say that the subject of the tweets I kind of support, but the fact that it was to an elderly couple was a bummer. I dunno if I want him to get in trouble for this or not.
