Lawmaker wearing hoodie removed from House floor

“Washington (CNN) -- A congressman was removed from the House floor Wednesday after giving a speech about Trayvon Martin while wearing a hoodie.

Rep. Bobby Rush, D-Illinois, told House members, "racial profiling has to stop."

Rush, a former Black Panther who was active in the civil rights movement in the 1960s, then took off his suit jacket, pulled a gray hoodie on over his head and put on sunglasses…”

 

  I am not sure what Rep. Bobby Rush was trying to say or prove.  If he was trying to say that he was stupid and had no respect for Congress then he did a good job. 
  He looked like a punk and a hood.  How does that help the cause of Trayvon Martin?  How does that improve race relations in the nation?
  After he was kicked off the floor he went out side still with the hoodie on and he looked like a fool.  CNN was there to interview him.  The news person was black.  He had a smile on his face like he was thinking do I have to interview this fool.
  If I had been the interviewer I would have said “You do know Congressman that you look like a fool?”  
  Rep. Bobby Rush is a black Congressman.  How does it help the nation when people see a black Congressman acting and looking like a total fool?

Spike Lee guilty of racist hate crime?

“An elderly couple in Sanford, Florida is now living in fear after multiple people including director Spike Lee incorrectly tweeted their address as that of Trayvon Martin shooter George Zimmerman, who is in hiding.

70-year-old Elaine McClain has a son named William George Zimmerman, who lived with her in 1995 and has no relation to the neighborhood watchman who shot and killed the unarmed Miami teen February 26, reports the Orlando Sentinel.

Elaine and her husband David McClain told Orlando's Local 6 that they received a letter addressed to George Zimmerman on Monday that read "taste the rainbow" in reference to the Skittles Martin was reportedly holding when he was shot.

The Sentinel reported that the McClains have since relocated to a hotel to avoid any more backlash.

The Smoking Gun traced the original tweet to Marcus Davonne Higgins, a 33-year-old Los Angeles Twitter user who tweeted the incorrect address for "George W. Zimmerman" Friday with the message, "Everybody repost this."

Director Spike Lee, who has been outspoken about the Martin shooting, retweeted the address to his 240,000 followers. The tweet has since been removed, and Lee was unavailable for comment to the Hollywood Reporter…”      The Huffington Post

 

  I had some video on YouTube about the Trayvon Martin / Zimmerman shooting.  The one video got over 900 comments and most of those comments were people saying that Zimmerman was guilty of murder and they wanted him dead.  Many of the comments said that someone would kill him.  Some of them said they would kill Zimmerman if they could.  Many of the comments wanted death for me and members of my family!

  So I can not believe that Spike Lee, a very smart man and a “credit to his race”, would have done something like he did.  That is super racist of him.   I am not sure it is a crime.  I think it should be a hate crime.  He was posting the location of Zimmerman, of course it was the wrong person and the wrong address, and he did that knowing that there were people saying they would kill Zimmerman.
  I am not sure what action can be taken against Spike Lee.  I love many of his movies.  But what he did was so wrong that I am just in a rage about it.  But I do not know what can be done about it.
  Spike Lee could have gone someone killed.   I am not sure how you punish Spike Lee for his crazy action.  The people could take him to court and win a little bit of money but it is not going to hurt Spike Lee.  They could not win enough to hurt Spike Lee.
 
  I guess I will just have to make sure that I never watch one of his movies again.  I know that is not going to have any effect but I will do my little part.
  What he did was very wrong.  He is a very racist person.  He is a very evil person to do something like that.  It is just as if he had put out a contract to have someone murdered.  Shame on Spike Lee.

I killed two of my Trayvon Martin videos

  I deleted two of my YouTube videos on the Trayvon Martin shooting.  The content was dated.  We have learned more since I made the videos.
  I hate to kill any video even when I make a video and I am wrong I leave them online. Sort of a history of what I was thinking at the time.  But people were checking out these videos. I just felt they should go.

   On all the Trayvon Martin videos I made I never turned on advertising.  I did not want to make one cent off the death of a 17 year old young man.
   Now, of course, we find out that the family of Trayvon Martin has a civil case against the homeowner’s association.  They are not trying to punish Zimmerman for the death of their son they are trying to get money.  
   Now we learn that Trayvon Martin’s mother wants to trademark her son’s name.  She is out to make money off the name of her dead son.  
   

    I been waiting for the school suspension information to come out about Trayvon Martin.  Not that it excuses his death.  But from the first the family was saying different things about the suspension and because it was ten days I knew it was not something mild.  Again the school things about Trayvon Martin do not excuse his death. 
     I do have a problem with the family now.   The reports are that Trayvon’s father listened to the 911 call with the screaming for help and was asked by the police is that your son and he said no.  Then later he changed his mind and said it was his son.  Trayvon’s mother, I saw her on TV, said that the screaming for help was her son and she said that she knew her son’s voice.   From the first the police report and later other people said that it was Zimmerman that was screaming for help.  So the family was lying for some reason.  Are they willing to do anything and if so what is the reason?  I fear it is money and not justice for their son.

     One thing I wonder about is the girl friend on the  telephone with Trayvon.  Is she telling the truth?  The information that she gave does not help or hurt Trayvon. 
     If Trayvon was scared and I think he was.  At first a guy in a truck was following him and then the guy got of the truck and was following him.  I wonder why Trayvon did not call 911?  It might be that a young black male that is out walking in a new area does not call the police.  
     But Trayvon was talking to his girl friend on the phone and I wonder if he said something to her like “I am going to kick this guy’s ass.”    

     I think we have a pretty good idea of what took place.  Trayvon Martin was walking back home.  Not doing anything wrong.  Zimmerman had gone someplace to do something and saw a young black male.  Zimmerman had his gun with him because he had not gone out to patrol but was doing something else so he had his gun.  But I think we all know Zimmerman carried that gun all the time.  He wanted to be packing a gun like a cop.  Zimmerman saw the young black man and wanted to play policeman and be a hero.   He called in the information to 911.  He followed Trayvon in his truck.  Trayvon saw him and left the side walk and was going between or behind homes to get away from a guy following him.  Zimmerman got out of the truck.  He was following on foot.  The 911 dispatcher asked Zimmerman if he was following the guy and Zimmerman said yes.  The dispatcher told him not to do that.  Zimmerman said OK but was running after Trayvon and was out of breath and that is where some people hear the slur sound on the 911 tape.  Just him breathing hard. 
      Now Zimmerman says he lost sight of Trayvon and I wonder if that is true or not?  He said he was heading back to his truck when Trayvon jumped him.  That may or may not be  true. 
      I think the facts are clear that Trayvon knocked Zimmerman down and got on top of him and started pounding him.  Zimmerman was screaming for help.  One guy that lived in one of the houses came out and Zimmerman yelled to him for help and the guy says that he said “I will call 911” and he went back in the house.  He saw Trayvon on top of Zimmerman.  The guy that went into the house said that he went upstairs and then he heard a shot and looked outside and saw that Trayvon was on the ground shot. 
     
      Now when the police showed up then did handcuff Zimmerman.   They took his gun and they gave Zimmerman first aid as officers and EMTs were doing CPR on Trayvon.  The police did take Zimmerman to the station and took his report.
      I am not sure how long Zimmerman was being held by the police but they then let him go and let him keep his gun.  The next day Zimmerman went to the hospital for treatment. 
      Word is now that the police have taken Zimmerman’s gun.
      From the comments that were left on my videos I would say that Zimmerman NOW does need his gun. 
     
      The above is what I think took place.
       I think the “Stand Your Ground” law is a bad law.  But I think the law is a good one for Zimmerman.  I think it will protect him. 

       Was there racism taking place?  I am not sure that Zimmerman is racist.  I think the local police department and city has major problems with racism. 
          

       The problem is that racist incidents like this happen all the time.  There are shooting like this all the time.  Many of the shooting like this are by police officers and nothing is done about it.  
        I am do not think this is a good case for people to use to fight the racism.  I know this one seems like a good one.  A young man not doing anything wrong and shot dead and the shooter walks completely free.
         The problem is there are to many guns.  There are people with guns that should not have them.  The “Stand Your Ground” law is wrong.  

          The NRA and pro gun people wanted the law changed so that everyone could carry a gun.  They pretty much got that.  Then they wanted to make it so you could kill someone and not have to worry about the law.  It was not enough that they could use “self defense” they wanted complete protection…they could not even be arrested or sued.   
          Even then that was not enough for them … When the laws to carry a gun were passed it was set up so that some businesses could post a sign and you could not carry a gun in their private business.  The pro gun people and the NRA now want it so you can carry a gun any dam place that you want to carry the gun.
           
          It is time for us to have some reasonable gun laws.  We do not have any at this time.

Trayvon Martin had multiple school suspensions

SANFORD, Fla --Trayvon Martin was suspended from school in October in an incident in which he was found in possession of women's jewelry and a screwdriver that a schools security staffer described as a "burglary tool," The Miami Herald has learned.

Trayvon, a Miami Gardens teenager who claimed that an unnamed friend had given him the jewelry, was not disciplined because of the discovery, but was instead suspended for graffiti, according to a Miami-Dade Schools Police report obtained by The Miami Herald.

A lawyer for the dead teen's family acknowledged Trayvon had been suspended for graffiti, but said the family knew nothing about the jewelry and the screwdriver, calling the information in the report an attempt to "demonize" the youth.

According to the report, on Oct. 21 staffers monitoring a security camera at Dr. Michael M. Krop Senior High School spotted Trayvon and two other students writing "W.T.F.," an acronym for "What the f ," on a hallway locker, according to schools police. The security employee, who knew Trayvon, confronted the teen and looked through his bag for the graffiti marker.

Trayvon's backpack contained 12 pieces of jewelry, in addition to a watch and a large flathead screwdriver, according to the report, which described the screwdriver as a burglary tool.

Trayvon was asked if the jewelry, which was mostly women's rings and earrings, belonged to his family or a girlfriend.

"Martin replied it's not mine. A friend gave it to me," according to the report. Trayvon declined to name the friend.

School police impounded the jewelry and sent photos of the items to detectives at Miami-Dade police for further investigation…”   Standard-Examiner

Trayvon Martin’s mother files to trademark son’s name

The mother of slain teen Trayvon Martin wants to trademark her son's name in the slogans, "I am Trayvon" and "Justice for Trayvon," according to two petitions filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Federal documents show Sybrina Fulton, the teen's mother, is the owner of the trademark petitions, which were filed online March 21 by her attorneys Kimra Major-Morris and Natalie Jackson of the Women's Trial Group.”     Orlando Sentinel

 

  I do not even know what to say about this.  It breaks your heart.

Comments turned off on one YouTube video

  I turned off the comments on the Comments on the Trayvon Martin Killing and 911 Tapes.  I post it on the 17th of March and it has got 27,863 views so far.  It had 904 comments.  Many of the comments were racist from both sides.  Many of the comments were threats.  So I just turned off the comments.  I hated to do it.  I believe in letting people express themselves but I just felt that so many people were fucking with the comments.  One thing some people were doing was marking messages they did not agree with as “spam.”  That removed the comment until I reviewed the message and then I would turn it back on.
  The comments also were very depressing.  It is not the hundreds of comments that said I was old and going to die. Not the comments that said they wanted me and my family dead.  Not even the comments that said I was a Republicans, a racist and a Texan.
  What was so depressing is how stupid people are and how they do not seem to have the ability to understand anything.  They also lock on to their prejudice and accept anything that supports it and reject anything that does not support their own prejudice.
  It make me worry for the very survival of the United States.

  I still have other videos on YouTube with the commenting turned on.  I will see how it goes.

In Florida, you can use deadly force anywhere as long as you:
--Are not engaged in an unlawful activity
--Are being attacked in a place you have a right to be
--Reasonably believe that your life and safety is in danger as a result of an overt act or perceived threat committed by someone else toward you.
Immunity from criminal prosecution and civil action for justifiable use of force can be found in Florida Statute § 776.032(1) (2012).

 

  My first video on the subject has got 18,782 views since March 17th.  It has got so far 679 comments.  So far 56 people checked that they liked it and 340 checked that they did not like it.
  The video that MrsDsmith1984 commented on has got 1,264 views so far.

Trayvon Martin family to sue homeowner’s association

“Sanford, Florida (CNN) -- Attorneys for the family of an unarmed Florida teen shot to death last month plan to pursue a civil case against a homeowner's association, the family's lawyer said Saturday.

Daryl Parks, attorney for the family of Trayvon Martin, spoke to board members of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) about the case.

He said there is evidence that the Twin Lakes homeowner's association told residents who saw suspicious activity to call George Zimmerman if they could not contact the police, according to an NABJ statement…”

 

  I have done about five videos on YouTube about the shooting of Trayvon Martin and the issues around it.  I think it was my first video that I said that the family would attempt to find a reason to sue the homeowner’s association.
  I was correct. 
  I think the family’s lawyer (Daryl Parks) is using the family.  The mother and father have got to be in such total depression that they just must be in a total fog.  I wonder how much sleep they are getting.
  This is now not a family seeking justice … I hate to say this… This is a family seeking money.  
They are not going after Zimmerman right now because they know he does not have any money.  They are not seeking to punish Zimmerman.  They are going after money.  

  I do not know if Daryl Parks, the family’s lawyer, took into consideration the “Stand Your Ground” law or not.  But what I forgot when I made my first video was that the law also protects a person against civil cases.  I had forgot that.
  I think that Zimmerman is protected by that law from even being sued by the family.  That will be a shocker to a lot of people.

  Also what people do not seem to understand about that law is that it is designed to prevent the police or the DA from even arresting or bringing a court case against someone that has the protection of the law.
  Since this is such a hot case and everyone is screaming racism I the DA will try and get around the law and at least try and arrest Zimmerman.

  I fear this is all getting out of control.  Some other people are going to get hurt.

Group demands ‘citizen’s arrest’

  There are some crazy people out there right now.   This entire thing is getting out of hand.  I hope that we do not lose control or have people get hurt.  We have one young man, Trayvon Martin, dead now.  We do not want to see any other people lose their lives.
  This Hashim Nzinga is so stupid.  What he is saying is wrong in so many ways but let me just take one area.
  True a person can make a citizen’s arrest.  There are certain conditions.  
  Let me just take one point of the “citizen’s arrest.”  When I was a police officer and I arrested someone I was pretty much immune from civil problems.  Even if it turned out that the person that arrested was turned loose or found not guilty.  But if a private citizen makes a “citizen’s arrest” he can be charged with impersonating a police officer, false imprisonment, kidnapping or wrongful arrest.  The civil problems for someone being so stupid to make a citizen’s arrest can be great. 
  In the case of Zimmerman he could end up owning everything that the New Black Panther Party owns and everything that Hashim Nzinga owns and everything that the person that “arrested” him owns.

  By the way just to show you how careful and how you need to know the law in ten years as a police officer and 30 years as a hospital security officer I only lost one court case. 
  The case I lost was a man I arrested for exposing himself.  He came to the hospital from time to time to expose himself.  At last I got him.  Then I found that I did not have what I needed to make the case for exposing himself.  So I told the police officer when I turned him over to charge him with trespassing.  Because I knew I could make that case because I had given him a trespassing warning a year or two in the past.  So when I went to court I got up and presented my case.  Then I found out the police had charged him with disorderly conduct.  I lost that case.  The only case I lost.
