Ted Nugent: Obama Comments Were Metaphors, Not Threats

“WASHINGTON — After meeting with rocker Ted Nugent on Thursday, the Secret Service says its probe into what he had to say about President Barack Obama is over.

Last weekend during a National Rifle Association meeting in St. Louis, Nugent rallied support for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney and said of the Obama administration: "We need to ride into that battlefield and chop their heads off in November." He also said he would be "dead or in jail by this time next year" if Obama is re-elected…”

 

  I just hope that all of the people listening to him and watching him knew it was not a call for them to kill the President of the United States and that it was just “metaphors.”
 
  I was alive when President Kennedy was killed. The shock and horror of those days is still painful to those of us that lived at that time. 
 
 

I love the FL weather but I hate the politics of FL

“The Miami Marlins have suspended manager Ozzie Guillen for five games, effective immediately, the team said Tuesday.

Guillen sparked a firestorm when he told Time magazine recently that he respected Fidel Castro for being able to lead Cuba for six decades.

"I respect Fidel Castro," Guillen said in the article. "You know why? A lot of people have wanted to kill Fidel Castro for the last 60 years, but that son of a bitch is still there."

Guillen apologized during a press conference Tuesday, speaking in Spanish.

Guillen said he had "betrayed a Latin community" and that he was speaking to "ask for forgiveness with my heart in my hand."

But, he said, he originallly spoke of Castro in Spanish and "the translation to English was a bit confusing."

In response to questions in English on Tuesday, Guillen said he'd let down the community…”

 

  As I have said in the past many times Miami is a third world city.  It is not like an a city of the United States.  The problem is the Cubans. 
  The Cubans that came from Cuba have ruined the city and the state. 
  They have also messed up the politics of the United States.
  We should have worked out a deal many years ago with Cuba.  But we are held hostage to their feelings and their hates and they being the Cubans that left Cuba and their children and grandchildren.

  This is the United States of America.  If someone wants to say they like, love or hate Fidel Castro they should be allowed to do so.  Hell, if someone wants to say that Communism is great they should be allowed to do so.  
  We have freedom of speech in the United States. 
  
  I loved the weather in FL.   I lived in Orlando for about a year and I lived in Miami for five years.  I love the beaches and the weather and many things about Miami but I did not like the people.  I do not recommend you live in Miami unless you speak Spanish.   Everyone talks Spanish.  I went into many businesses and no one spoke English.  The cable TV install guy that came did not speak one word of English.  Many drivers and even truck drivers not only do not speak English they can not read signs in English.
  Even when you are dealing with people that speak English many of them only understand 20% or 30% of English.  You will think they speak English but they are not understanding everything.  I worked in Miami and had a supervisor tell me how he worked for a company that had him fire an excellent English speaking only worker just so they could hire someone from their country (not the US).
  Also the people that speak Spanish fucking hate each other.  Someone from one country would tell me that the other guy was no good because he came from some other country.  That was a surprise and shock to me.  Someone from Cuba would say oh that other guy is from Peru and they are no good.  I was surprised. I was thinking since they all spoke Spanish the would all support each other.  (Yes, I know Brazil does not speak Spanish.)
  
  It would be nice if freedom would come to Cuba.  But even when it does the “Cubans” are not going to go back to Cuba.  They are doing to stay in Miami and ruin it and fuck up our politics.  
  The Cubans in FL that have money will go and buy up some property and businesses in Cuba but they will stay in FL.  

  Would the last American when they leave FL please bring our flag with them?

1940 U.S. Census records released online

(CNN) - Personal, historic details of more than 132 million people were released online through the 1940 Census Monday, providing the public with free access to a slice of American history.

The National Archives and Records Administration unlocked the records after a mandatory 72-year waiting period and released more than 3.8 million digital images in collaboration with Archives.com.

Earlier Census records were made available to the public, but not all of them are searchable online free of charge, said Megan Smolenyak, family history advisor at Archives.com. Monday's release marks the first time researchers, genealogists and history hunters can find detailed records online in one place for free.

The 1940 Census was conducted as the Great Depression was winding down and before the country’s entry into World War II, reflecting the economic tumult of the era and the New Deal recovery program of the 1930s…”

  I agree 1940 a key year.  I was born in 1941.  So 1940 my father was living with his mother and father in Kansas City.  I am not sure how many of his 7 brothers and 3 sisters were also living with their mother and father.  I will have the ability to look it up I guess.
  The 1940 census will be an interesting census.
 
  I worked for the 2010 census and loved it.  I wish I could have done the 2010 census but I did not have a car.

Girls with involuntary movement aka mass hysteria

  Am I the only person in the United States that is a big Seinfeld fan?  Remember the episode with George and his “involuntary” arm movement? 
  I think the 11 school girls with Tourette-like tics must have also seen that episode.
 

  When I saw the girls on TV with their tics I was thinking it was a promo for a new Salem witch trial movie. 

  As I watched them I wanted to laugh.
  Now I understand if those are you kids you are going to believe them and being worry about them.  Plus if you are people at the school or medical people you got to look into it. 
  It would be so bad to write off a real sickness.  So you got to check everything and be 100% sure.

  But then you need to take those girls and take a belt to their asses.
  NO NO.. but fucking ground them…   no cell phones, no TV, no games … they need rest in their rooms and work around the house until they turn 18 years of age.
  And if you are a boy stay away from those girls.  Do not date them.  Do not look at them.
 
  If this was the 1600s there would be people in that town that would be arrested for witchcraft.  There would be people in that town that would be hanged because of girls like that.

  You know the first warning bell for me was that it was all girls.  Not one boy.

American Atheists are posting billboards this time of year.  I see all sorts of billboards and signs up all over the place for things.  Who the fuck cares?   It is no big deal BUT these signs cause people in the United States to go fucking crazy. 
  The CNN iReport about it force me to agree that I wanted to see content that might be bad!

  We have freedom of religion and from religion in this nation.  Yes, I know in other nations if you do not follow the law of religion if the state does not kill you your family members will kill you. But this is the United States of America.

  What is wrong with the educational system in the United States that we do not know the history of this great nation?  What is wrong with the educational system that we do not know the and understand the Bill of Rights in this nation?

  But most of all what is wrong with the people of the Book in this nation that their faith is so weak that they can not stand for someone to express a different belief or opinion.
  OK I know atheists are a pain in the butt.  They preach and promote their “religion” which is that there is no God except for their way of believing.  They often do more “preaching” of their lack of faith that people of faith do preaching about the religion of God.
  If the truth was to be known I think I would rather listen to some born again Baptist trying to convert me by rubbing my face in the Bible that I would listen to some atheist trying to convert me to his way of thinking. 

  But it makes me sick to heart and sickens me that the people of the Book can not stand to have someone put up a stupid billboard or a sign someplace.
  Oh you of little faith.

Veterans Day

 

 

  When I was in high school (De La Salle) we were a 55 c ROTC school.  We were in uniform every day.  A 55c school did more ROTC than a normal high school that had an ROTC unit.

  We also marched each year in the Kansas City veterans day parade. 
Other ROTC units were taken by bus downtown for the parade and then by a bus back to school.
  Our school battalion (500 students) marched from the school to the start of the parade site and then marched in the parade and then at the end of the parade we marched back to the school.
 
  We carried M1s except for officers that carried swords (they also were issued carbines).

  Before the start of each school day we had formation in front of the school for the entire battalion and the colors were raised with sound to the colors etc.  It sent chills up and down my spine every day.
  Each Friday the second half of the day was for a full dress parade in Parade Park which was across the street from De La Salle. 

  De La Salle was a Catholic all male high school taught by the  Christian Brothers. 

I do not have any video or even still photos of the weekly parade so here is a video from the United States Military Academy to give you an idea of what the weekly parade was like.  West Point however has about 1,300 (college) cadets and we had 500 (high school) cadets.

Glenn Beck says Norway Children like “Hitler Youth”

“Glenn Beck spoke out about the mass killings in Norway on his Monday radio show.

Beck said that he was disturbed by the summer camp that was the site of the overwhelming majority of the carnage perpetrated by Anders Behring Breivik, the right-wing extremist who has admitted to the killings. The camp is run by Norway's leading center-left party, the Labor Party, and has long been a haven for young people looking to break into the political scene.

What a mean little sick man is Glenn Beck.  I should not even be commenting on what he says.  We all need to just not report on anything he says or does until the time comes that he kills himself or is committed to a mental hospital.

  The people of Norway know about Hitler Youth.  I guess Glenn Beck never heard of World War II.  The people of Norway know about the evil of Hitler because they lived it.
  We have summer camps in the United States and we have political camps like;  Boys’ State, Girls’ State, Boys’ Nation and Girls’ Nation.

Boys and Girls State programs both began in 1937 and are held in each of the U.S. states (excluding Hawaii), usually on a college campus within that state.   It sounds to me like Glenn Beck also thinks that the American Legion is like the Hitler Youth?

    Glenn Beck is a low life scum bag.  He would be right at home with the Third Reich and with Adolf Hitler.  I suspect he dresses up like Hitler at night and puts on some video of the marches in Germany and masterbates.
