The Big Bang Theory

  I am enjoying “The Big Bang Theory” on TV. 

“The Big Bang Theory is an American sitcom created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady, both of whom serve as executive producers on the show, along with Steven Molaro. All three also serve as head writers. It premiered on CBS on September 24, 2007.^[3]

Set in Pasadena, California, the show is centered on five characters: two room-mate geniuses who work at the California Institute of Technology, experimental physicist Leonard Hofstadter and theoretical physicist Sheldon Cooper; their neighbor across the hall Penny, a blonde waitress and aspiring actress. The three live at 2311 Los Robles Avenue in Pasadena. Leonard and Sheldon have equally geeky and socially awkward co-workers and friends Howard Wolowitz, an aerospace engineer and a non-PhD from JPL, and Rajesh Koothrappali, an astrophysicist also working at Caltech. The geekiness and intellect of the four guys is contrasted for comic effect with Penny's social skills and common sense.^[4][5] Three other supporting characters have also been promoted to main cast status for a few episodes: Leslie Winkle, a Caltech colleague and, at different times, a lover of both Leonard and Howard; Bernadette Rostenkowski, a doctoral candidate (later doctor) in microbiology, part-time waitress alongside Penny, and Howard's love interest and fianceé; and Amy Farrah Fowler, a neurobiologist whose personality is very similar to Sheldon, and who later becomes close friends with Penny…”

South Park and Penn State v2

“South Park wasted no time in getting around to the sexual abuse scandal which has shaken the foundation of Penn State to its core. But the questions synonymous with Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s button-pushing series — “Too soon?” and “Did they go too far this time?” — will no doubt be asked again after last night’s episode.

The episode, titled “The Poor Kid,” featured (a still alive) Kenny and his siblings being taken out of their parents custody when they got in trouble with the law. (All together now: Simpsons did it!) South Park and Penn State

  I was watching “South Park” last night and they were doing non-stop Penn State “jokes.” 

  I like “South Park” but I did not think any of it was funny.  I know they do stuff like that all the time.  I suspect they are going to have some upset people.

Scammed into posing for explicit photos

  I don’t know but I think that scamming people into posing nude is part of the Internet. 

I do not think it should be a crime to lie to people to get them to pose nude for you.  I could see breach of contract or something taking place in civil court.

“A former Texas Tech student indicted for scamming students into nude photos may be at it again — this time in San Marcos, according to a student at Texas State University in San Marcos.

Recently, a Lubbock County grand jury indicted Terrill Taylor, 21, for allegedly promising male students up to $4,000 in exchange for taking nude photographs of them. He was indicted for securing documents by deception.

Taylor’s Lubbock case is still pending, and a trial date has not been set, according to the Lubbock County Criminal District Attorney’s Office.

Brandon Barrows, a San Marcos student, said Taylor offered him $2,500 about two weeks ago to pose for photos in his boxers.

Barrows said Taylor claimed to be from a company called KG Studios, and offered more money if Barrows posed nude or allowed Taylor to paint his body…”

Satellite insurance?

  Now a German satellite is going to re-enter the Earth’s atmosphere.  It looks like this is going to start to become a normal thing.  Well, of course, we have had lots of space junk coming back home but now the junk is bigger and heaver.

  CNN is saying, right now, that it will between 1930 hours (ET) today and 0130 hours Sunday. 

  I think NASA, I know it is not their satellite, should set up a international lottery.  We each pay $1.00 per year.  If we get hit and killed we get x amount of money.  If we made it $12.00 a year for the insurance the money might fund NASA.  
  Now if the German satellite falls and does some damage I am sure the German government would pay damages. 
  So the lottery could be extra and help fund NASA.  They would just need to put into a trust fund the amount to insure they had the money to pay and all the extra money could be used to fund NASA.

Lily’s Disneyland Surprise!

  Six year old gets the word that for her birthday she is going to Disneyland.  To say that she is happy would be an understatement.  Over 3 and a half million people have watched this video on YouTube.

Workaholics

  I am watching “Workaholics” right now on Comedy Channel.  I never heard about it before and this is the first time I have seen it.  It is funny.  I am going to try and remember to watch it from now on.

GOP Sen. Scott Brown nude?

The Massachusetts Senate race maybe getting raw and hard.  
I am a big fan of the Democratic candidate Elizabeth Warren.  We need her in the Senate and I hope she wins.

(CNN) – It didn't take long for the zings to begin in the closely watched Massachusetts Senate race between GOP Sen. Scott Brown and leading Democratic candidate Elizabeth Warren.

When asked Tuesday at a primary debate how Warren paid for college - noting a nearly nude 1982 Cosmopolitan magazine photo shoot that Brown did to earn money at age 22 - the Democratic candidate fired off: "I kept my clothes on."
Two days later, Brown had one comment about Warren not taking off her clothes.

"Thank God," he said, laughingly, during a radio interview with WZLX in Boston Thursday. "I didn't go to Harvard. I went to the school of hard knocks, and I did whatever I had to do to pay for school."

Brown, who was elected to the Senate in a January 2010 special election, received his degrees from Tufts University and Boston College Law School. Warren graduated from the University of Houston and Rutgers School of Law.
