Last few days I been having more pain from my gallstones. I have not had a lot of problems from the gallstones. Just very mild pain in that area.
I did a post “Foods to avoid with gallstones.” I eat all the wrong foods and I have not been paying any attention to that list of foods to avoid. I think I am starting to pay the price.
From that post here are the foods I should be eating:
“Foods to Choose
A diet high in fiber-rich foods is one of the best ways to prevent gallstones or a painful attack. Among the best choices are: fresh fruits and vegetables, especially broccoli, spinach, carrots, beets, apples, lemons and watermelon; low-fat, low-cholesterol proteins such as turkey, chicken and fresh fish, and foods with high levels of calcium, magnesium and potassium, including baked potatoes, brown rice, yogurt and soaked or sprouted grains…”
Read more: Foods to Avoid With Gallstones | eHow.comhttp://www.ehow.com/facts_4826361_foods-avoid-gallstones.html#ixzz1MPXL8n2v
I am going to try and do better. I do not want gallstone pain.

OK OK.. I do not want to make any bodybuilders mad. Please to not kick sand in my face.
I just saw a photo story on CNN and it says that bodybuilding is the fastest growing sport in Afghanistan. It was even permitted under the Taliban regime!
I have always felt like bodybuilding is a bit gay. (Not that there is anything wrong with that.)
See why I said I did not want to piss off any bodybuilders?
When I was a kid I was skinny. Well not just as a kid. When I had to go and take my Selective Service physical I was about 5 foot 11 inches and my weight was 115 pounds. There were 200 of us there for the physical and we all had to get nude and stand around for the entire exam. The SS doctor came over and asked me if I had been sick. Because I was skin and bone. You could see all of my bones. I looked like someone from a WWII Nazi concentration camp.
They sent me a 1-A card by error. I went right down to join the Army but they called the SS center and the center saw their error and sent me a new card and it was 1-Y. Later the SS made all 1-Y cards 4-F.
But when I was younger I tried everything to gain weight. Well that is not true. I did send for the Charles Atlas books. But I did not stand around posing or go into bodybuilding.
I was skinny because my mother did not cook. She was to busy drinking and talking on the telephone to family members drunk.
My father was a union man and made good money all his life and my mother worked all her life. So we were not poor.
I was just lazy and stupid. I lived on Swanson TV dinners and Coke. It took 30 minutes to cook a TV turkey dinner. That was before the invention of the microwave.

I had a 9:45 AM appointment to have my pacemaker checkup and see the doctor. I had the cab pick me up at 8:00 AM. It took 15 minutes to get there. I am always early for appointments.
I was never late for school when I was a kid. If I was going to be late I turned around and went back home.
The cab cost $21.25 and I gave the driver a $5.00 tip on top of that. The office appointment cost $35.00 and it cost $2.00 to get home on the bus.
My pacemaker is working 95% of the time. It is keeping my heart rate up and telling my heart when to beat. The battery check says that the battery should last for 10 and a half more years! Wonder if I get a battery like that for my cell phone?
“I had my pacemaker checked today. I had an EKG. I also saw the heart doctor.
I also am allowing my data to be used in a research study.

My Heart Rate was 25: http://youtu.be/tGdsHn68d50
I fainted at Walgreen on Friday night (October 15, 2010) at about 8:30 PM. The Walgreen staff was excellent. I fainted because my heart rate was 25. That is a complete heart block. That heart rate does not support life.
The Fort Worth EMS came. First the firefighters/EMTs and they were great. Saved my life I am sure. Then the ambulance paramedics came. Again they were great.
I went to Texas Health - Harris Methodist - Fort Worth hospital. They were excellent. The hospital has wonderful staff. All of them from transporters, food service, house cleaning to the doctors. I was on the 4th floor a medical heart unit. The staff that took care of me were wonderful people. I know hospital and medical workers. I worked 30 years, and 6 hospital, and these people were great.
They put a pacemaker in me. I do not like things like that...But I sure do not want to faint and end up dead.”

Last couple of weeks I been eating olives. I like them but have not had any recently for some reason.
I decided that I should see if they are good for you so did a search of the Internet.
“Olives are one of the oldest foods known to man, dating back some 8,000 years in the Mediterranean region. The olive tree was valued as a symbol of peace and happiness, while olives were used as food and a source of oil.
Olive soup is a good remedy for a sore throat, according to traditional Chinese medicine (it's also the only time olives are used in Chinese cuisine).
Today everyone knows how good olive oil is for health, but the humble olive is often passed up (often because they've unfairly gotten a bad rap for being high in fat). However, olives are actually a very healthy fruit, one that's been lending superb nutrition to mankind for centuries. So there's no need to pass up that tempting olive bar at the market any longer -- olives are good for you!…” SixWise.Com
Sounds good to me. I am going to keep them around. Having them here will keep me from eating something else that is bad for me. (Like last night I ate half a bag of cookies and this morning after breakfast I had the other half of the bag of cookies. )
I am at 222.4 pounds right now.

The doctor’s office sent me a copy of my lab work. I have an appointment to see the doctor on the 5th of this month.
The 7600 Lipid Panel:
TRIG My level 188 Normal range is less than 150
CHOL 206 Normal range is less than 200
HDL 39 Normal range is more than 39
CHOL/HDL 5.28 Normal range is less than 5
LDL Calculated 129 Normal range is less than 100
“Lipid profile or lipid panel, is the collective term given to the estimation of, typically, total cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, and triglycerides. An extended lipid profile may include very low-density lipoprotein. This is used to identify hyperlipidemia(various disturbances of cholesterol and triglyceride levels), many forms of which are recognized risk factors for cardiovascular disease and sometimes pancreatitis…” Wikipedia
Well I am sure the doctor is going to want to put me on medication to lower my cholesterol levels. I will see what the doctor says on Monday.
”The CMP w/gfr results list 19 things. My Glucose is as always at 94 and normal range is 70 to 105.
The BUN result is high it is 29 and normal is 7 to 25.
The cGFR is low at 54 and normal is above 60.
Since I am on a water pill I was wondering about Potassium and it is 4.2 and normal is 3.5 to 5.3.
My Sodium level was 140 and normal is 135 to 146.
The comprehensive metabolic panel, or chemical screen, (CMP; CPT code 80053) is a panel of 14blood tests which serves as an initial broad screening tool for physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants. Because it is often ordered as a routine part of an annual physical examination or check up, over time the CMP provides an important baseline of a patient's basic physiology. Any changes or abnormal results, and in particular combinations of abnormal results, thus provides important initial data for differential diagnosis, in which case more specialized tests may be indicated. In and of itself, however, the CMP provides an important gross check on the status of kidney function, liver function, and electrolyte and fluid balance.
In addition to being used at routine physicals of healthy patients, the CMP is routinely administered to monitor the status of a patient with a chronic disease, such as diabetes mellitus or hypertension.
Previous names for the panel of tests have been Chem 12, Chemistry panel, Chemistry screen, SMA 12, SMA 20 and SMAC (Sequential Multiple Analysis - Computer).[1] The tests are performed on machines based on the AutoAnalyzer invented in 1957…”
I will see what the doctor has to say but it looks like I have kidney problems. It looks like I am in stage 3 of kidney damage. But I will see on Monday what the doctor thinks about the results.
I am not worrying about the results. I guess I will wait and see if the doctor is worried first.

Next month I will be 71 years of age. My grandfather (my father’s father) died at age 56. He died in 1942.
My father died at age 65 in 1979.
My father had 10 brothers and sisters. He had a brother die at age 11 in 1935. My father’s brothers died; Leo (74), Joseph (71), Leonard (66), Lawrence (72), Vincent (71) and Richard (71).
My father had three sisters and Mary died at age 79 and Rose at 81. One of his sisters is still living.
Well if you look at those numbers above being 71 years of age does not look like it is such a great thing.
But I am telling myself well all of them drank and smoked. I have never drank or smoked. Of course I worked as a welder for about ten years.
I have a Texas Lotto ticket for tomorrow. The cash value is $5,200.000.00 and it would be nice to win but with “only” $5 million it would be hard to give everyone all the money that I wanted to give to them.
If I won the $5 million maybe the smart thing would be to take it in payments. I would have get, I am guessing, $250 K each year for x number of years. That would be a lot of money for me. I could give out money to my family and friends each year. I could not give out millions but I would have lots of money to help in little ways and then when I died my family would get money each year and they would split it.
I am sure my kids and grandson would say take the lump sum and give each of them half a million or so but with taxes they would not get half a million.
Hell I want to win a big jackpot.
I should get before tomorrow a PowerBall ticket (cash value $25M) and a Mega Millions ticket ($69M).
We are going to have some good weather this week here in Fort Worth. I have a doctor’s appointment for March 5th and I will get the results of my lab work.

Some how my medications are all messed up.
The doctor, I guess, forgot to write the Rx for Carvedilos (12.5 Mg two times a day) and I just ran out.
My old Rx for Benazepril HCL (20 Mg) was take two a day. I see the new Rx that I got filled today is take one per day.
Not good to have two of your blood pressure medications messed up…. Of course if I do not get the errors corrected right away it might help my erectile dysfunction … Of course I think just about all of the medications I take work cause ED.
God hates me.

I did not have anything to eat or drink after about 2300 hours last night.
I took the bus to the mall and had my lab work done about 0930 hours and got to the mall just in time for the food court to open.
See the photo to the left. That is what I had to eat. The rice was not good. Two out of three of the meats were excellent.
I did not go to Radio Shack at the mall. I know I would have spent money on something if I had gone.
Of course when I got home I went on line and ordered $88.00 worth of stuff from Amazon.
Yesterday I made rice with the rice cooker. It was good. Russ would not eat any but Dar and Jimmy both had some rice.
I got a deposit in my banking account today for $39.99 and that was from the adult video adv that I have on the lower right hand side of ShowMeBlog.
I got a $10.00 scratch off lottery ticket today. It had about seven numbers that were my “winning” numbers and then there were 30 numbers to scratch off. I did not get one number.
I also got a $2.00 Texas Power Ball ticket for tonight. The cash jackpot will be $37 million dollars. The chance of me winning tonight is 1 in 175.2 million. I do not think I should hold my breath.
I got an email yesterday from AVS software. They reset my number and now all of their programs work. I am glad they fixed it for me. I do like their software and I think it is a pretty good deal.
I need to make sure that if I format or change computers that I don’t lose there software again. The last time I had their software working was in 2009. It is 2012 now!
Tomorrow is the day that I hook up the pacemaker machine and call in the data to the doctor’s office. I plan to do a video of doing it for YouTube and I will post the video here.
This will be the first time I have done it from home. I think the device will work with the Charter phone service. Before I had Skype and it would not work and I used the phone line at the apartment office.
